This place is nice. The ambience is a little dull, and the food took about 40 minutes. We watched people who came 20 minutes after us get served first. Carne asada was pretty good, but the slaw was really off-putting. Chicken pupusas are $2.95 and big for the price you get, so I would say that is the star of the experience. Tres leches was quite disappointing and dry. The chicken pupusas are nice to get here, but everything else is meh compared to Parrita’s.

Stay away from this place. I tried to go get something to eat at 8:30pm tonight while waiting for my laundry next door. Stood there at the register for 5 mins while the workers give me dirty looks. Seriously? Then a girl says yes?while looking confused as why im there. I asked if i can please get a half chicken. She says rudely no more chicken. Wtf ?!? They close at 10. No menus, tvs were off .You're a chicken place, and theres no chicken at 8:30? LoL jajaja its probably because im not hispanic because she had no problem taking a couples order right after me. Guess they had chicken then. Then i see a small mouse running across the rice and there were so many little bugs on the floor. Im kinda glad they refused me service now Esta gente es tan ignorante y repugnantemente grosera. ¿Por qué estás aquí si no quieres trabajar? Rechacé mi servicio a las 8:30 pm porque no soy hispano. y tomar otro cliente después de mí. Cuando me iba vi un ratoncito caminando sobre el arroz y tantos bichos en el suelo. Este lugar es asqueroso y estoy llamando al departamento de salud

I have sampled many of Peruvian chicken restaurants in Fairfax area, and Mary’s is the best one. The chickens are brined and cook in batches, so they are always moist and flavorful. Half of a chicken with side orders of salad and beans are only about $12, which is way better and fuller than fast food. The chicken soup and beef soups are good also. The restaurant is sandwich between a laundromat and Seven Eleven, and gets busy on the weekends.

The chicken here are decent, not anything special, but not bad either. What's really special is their pupusas! this place's pupusa locas are seriously amazing! They are made fresh with great flavor! They also offer many other dishes here, I have tried most and they are all decent. Overall this place offers fairly priced and good food, with amazing pupusas.Parking: Parking is a bit limited due to location.

All I can say is yum!!! The Tacos Dorados were so crispy, with a delicious chicken filling. The pupusas locas, to die for! The Carne asada was so flavorful and juicy.. My only complaint was the wait, but there was 18 of us, so I can't say it was their fault.

I was at Haley's laundromat and I saw this place called Mary's restaurant right next to the laundromat so I gave it a try. I ordered the steak and cheese with fries and I added a side of the chicken tamale. I also added a couple pepsis. The food was excellent. The chicken tamale was made with a chicken wing and he left the bone in to add more flavor. The tamale was very moist and very delicious just a tad of spice but very tasty. The Steak and Cheese Sandwich was really good too. The sandwich had a toasted sub roll with steak cheese lettuce tomato and light mayonnaise perfectly made and that was a companied by crispy fries. Overall the meal was excellent. As I was waiting for my laundry to complete next door I was able to have a good meal at Mary's restaurant located at Fairfax circle next to Citco.
