Good, fresh and hot food when we stopped in later afternoon on a Saturday. Would definitely come back again.
The best Indo-Asian place in Virginia, DC! I always visit when I'm in Virginia and my order is consistently spot-on. The Blazing noodles (with everything of course!) is excellent, the Chicken 65 is a delight to the senses and the Schezwan fried rice is amazing! Plus, it's halal!Thank you so much Masala Wok!???
Worst experience. I was there with 2 families. Ordered the food without waste of time. They started serving the big family which came after us. On raising the concern the guy at the front desk gave the excuse that chef picked that order first. How idiot they are. Rather serving first come first server. We ordered Hakka noodles, it was the worst I ever had. Never recommend to go to this restaurant. Also the guy turned on the AC when it was tooo cold outside. On complaining he said yes he turned it on as the guys in the kitchen were feeling warm what a stupid response to the customer, rather turning on the heat and making temperature soothing he left it as is due to which the food got cold as well. Worst customer experience food quality was so so bad don’t even have words to express either. I request everyone please don’t go and waste money, time and go to some other good restaurant to enjoy good quality food.
Despite other reviews here, I have eaten here a few times and have been really impressed with the quality of food. Prices are reasonable and the Chicken 65 was a standout for me.
Chicken smells so bad and old So disappointing! Chicken tasted old. Hakka style dishes had no flavor and the taste of old chicken was obvious.Curry with lamb was mediocre. Rice was off and without flavor. For dine-in there was a single napkin holder at the back of the restaurant where it was dark. Apparently the utensils are also back there.and they are expensive for this quality.
The restaurant was okBut the food was worstI had lollipop which was almost burntI also had veg szechuan rice which was 0 out of 5I can literally smell plastic in szechuan sauce that they gave meThe soup that I ordered i took 2 spoon that was enough for meChicken chilli had all runny gravy had no tasteI even had throw out when I came home

Straight up do not come here. I absolutely did not have a good experience here. I had two orders, manchuria chicken and chili chicken, and they both tasted exactly the same and tasteless. To make matters worse, they don’t even have hot sauce on the side (I asked and the server said that they don’t have it). If you put both orders next to each other, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. I’ve had better frozen foods of the exact same orders than what I have had here. The presentation of the food also could have been the same as what you get out of a frozen tv dinner or something. Just look at the picture! I truly felt like I wasted $30 here. It would’ve been better if I had frozen food. If you want authentic Indian/Asian food, go somewhere else!
Awesome menu, friendly staff and quick service. I always take takeouts and I love their chicken fried rice and hot and sour vegetable soup for the cold weather.
Ordered Manchurian ,chilly paneer, noodles for catering. None were good chef needs to be trained on how to make desi chinese ( indo-chinese)I can even make better than them.Wouldn’t recommend for desi chinese here.Manchurian balls were hard and tiny

Deliciosoooo lo mejor en indian food the best ?????????
Picked up chicken65. Test was awful and there was no curry leaves and chicken were old. I will never ever go back again.
I have gone here numerous times and gotten the correct Thai Dynamite.... today they gave me the masala wok spicy instead and because the chef says that's their Thai Dynamite which it isnt.... they wouldn't give me the correct food and even acted like I was wrong. They cannot follow their own menu and its pathetic. NEVER GOING BACK THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE
First time ordering from Masala Wok and was a little disappointed. I ordered the Biryani 65, Garlic Naan, Ras Malai, Gulub jamun, and raita. The biryani was absolutely disappointing; it tasted like regular fried rice with pieces of spicy tandoor chicken on top. The garlic naan was tough to chew. The ras malai don't even get me started on that. I was expecting the ras malai with white cream not the rasa malei with the yellowish cream. The only reason I'm give one star is because the delivery guy (Kiarash) was nice.
2nd time at Masala Wok, they nailed it both times. Had the Southern Curry and the Goan Vindaloo. This place has amazing flavor and will have you coming back. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!
