The best KBBQ experience we've ever had, I came for my girlfriend's birthday, and we both enjoyed extremely high-quality cuts of meat rivaling that of Michelin star KBBQ places such as COTE particularly with the cuts of Bulgogi and marinated and un marinated galbi being insanely tender. The meat also came out within 15 minutes and we finished our entire experience within an hour and 15 minutes. Our server cooked the meat perfectly all cuts were juicy and not overcooked....
I've been to Meokja Meokja several times and always enjoyed the food and service. Last night was no exception. However, after we finished and were chatting, the hostess came by and told us politely that we had to leave. By my accounting, we had been at the table for slightly over an hour and this felt rushed. My son who is in the restaurant business tells me that you should never do this unless you have a posted time limit, which Meokja Meokja does not. I understand wanting...

• Pros: Top-tier meat quality and excellent side dishes. The server was also very engaging and helpful with recommendations.
• Cons: Service pace was lacking. We had to ask for standard items like chopsticks, spoons, rice, and water refills.
