Kind of funny to find a good noodle restaurant inside the Ranch 99 supermarket, but here it is. Part of the rating comes from the fun of watching them make the noodles, but eating them is good too. The dumplings were also surprisingly flavorful. While your order will take more time to prepare than the Chinese food buffet nearby, it is well worth it.
This place has hands down some of the best pork & chive steamed dumplings I've had. I had to stop by 99 Ranch for some grocery shopping but hadn't eaten all day so decided to grab a small bite here, going for some dumplings. I was in shock at how good the dumplings here were. You can taste how the wrapping is freshly made (soft, light, and slightly chewy - I give the wrapping for the dumplings a 10/10). Delicious, freshly pulled noodles at this gem hidden in an Asian grocery store (99 Ranch). What makes this dish great is that the noodles have a nice amount of chew to them. My only quibble is that I would have preferred just a little bit more beef and onions, but that's merely reflective of my personal preference.
