I've been a customer since early 2000s. They have consistently raised prices and never been generous. We have a family of 6 and if I ask for an extra sauce they give me major attitude...come on, its like ketchup at McDonalds. Recently they gave out free lunches to federal employees. Well, those Federal employees got paid time off for every day that they did not have to go to work. So why are the rest of us supposed to pay their ever-rising prices?

Waste of time and money. The food quality is extremely low. The rice was just plain boiled rice — nowhere near real Persian rice. The bread was cheap, store-bought pita warmed up, not fresh. Kabab skewers were tiny and overpriced. I was embarrassed to bring guests here. 1/5 at best. Not recommended.

Incredibly nice GM named Farzad was so attentive and gave us extra sauce and bread on the house. Huge portions. Great value. Farzad confirmed all meats are halal. Amazing service and very short wait times even when it got busy.

The general manager, Farzad, at this Moby Dick’s House of Kabob location has to be one of the most customer service oriented gentlemen I have ever come across in a role which generally has no expectation for tipping in return for that service. Outstanding!

During our visit to the USA, we went to Mobi Dick in Fairfax several times, and it quickly became one of the best places we ate and our absolute favorite. Every visit was consistently excellent, with great food and friendly service. It was so good that we kept coming back throughout our stay. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.

They require you to provide your e-mail and phone number just to order food. This is unacceptable. If you have the money to buy food, that's all you should need to provide. Stop farming customer data and just provide your service. Edit: I changed my review from 1 to 4 stars because I actually like the food and the people here, I just hate the harvesting of personal information by companies.

I grew up carrying out food from Moby on a regular basis. It was a regular family meal for us.

Food is still relatively solid.. though I do feel like quality has dipped ever since Moby franchised super hard. The one HUGE regression in their food is the bread. They used to bake really delicious, fresh bread in the restaurant. Now, they no longer do this, and instead package factory made, sad looking and flavorless flat bread with your meal. The quality and taste difference is huge, and honestly makes me miss when they made the bread in-house.

Please bring back the freshly baked bread!!! The new bread is honestly so bad, and I usually end up just throwing it away.

Coming this restaurant for over 20 yrs .. food and service everything is same .. just amazing !! Best kubideh kabob in NOVA !!

Great place!! The staff was so attentive and polite. My food was hot and very flavorful. They give you enough sauces and bread. I will deff come here again and recommend it.

Disappointed with my visit. The staff seemed inattentive, and the dining area wasn’t clean — tables and seats still had leftover food. Prices are also quite high for the quality and service provided. I hope management improves cleanliness and customer care moving forward.

Whenever I’m in town I have to stop by and grab a plate. I enjoy the steak, lamb and chicken…. So good. Make sure to ask for the crispy rice.

This Moby Dick location has the best customer service. The manager Farzad Shojaei has great customer service skills. He is so kind to the customers and his staff. He is very welcoming. In addition the food is always prepared tender, juicy, and hot. We get Moby Dick from this location for many corporate events and Farzad always takes care of us. His team is also very kind and hospitable. Will be returning regularly.
