This restaurant popped up on a social media feed and we decided to try it. The staff, food and ambiance did not disappoint! The staff is probably the best I have seen in a while. They are really friendly and attentive to the patrons, even the children. For food, we had the clam chowder, fish and chips, poke nachos and apple cider donuts, all yummylicious!We will be back for sure.

I visited for the first time before the snowstorm. Initially, I had a good first impression, however, I do think the food was mediocre and overpriced. I was accidentally charged twice for the kids play place and after reaching out to the manager, instead of offering a refund or seeing what happened they accused me of lying about it anyways here’s my picture of us attending the play place and getting charged twice 0/10 customer service

What a great spot for all ages to enjoy! The food is delicious! The hospitality is amazing! The space for kids to play is just icing on the cake! Ned’s has become a favorite place for so many of my mom friends !

We had roast beef burger and shrimp tacos which were very salty. My husband can hardly finish it. The play area was clean and nice. A bit disappointed about the service. My kid was still playing at the play area but the lady started putting toys away. We felt rushed to leave. Please note there’s a $7 play area maintenance fee charged in the bill. I personally wouldn’t come back again.

I loved my 1st experience here at Ned’s New England Deck and Play date social area. I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a long time. Today was the day. I wanted to enjoy a good lunch all while having a fun play date with my son without have to worrying about overcrowding, sicknesses and chasing.
Booking a spot for my kid to play was easy and I love that they do that to avoid over crowding. I’ve seen the lovely lady at the check in desk come in the play area to check, clean and organize multiple times in the 90 minutes we were there. I was able watch over my child while he played and occasionally step in with him.
The food was phenomenal! I had a lobster roll and nuggets and fries. Portion size was also great. We did not leave hungry, my son was having too much fun that he finished the rest of his meal in the car.
I definitely want to come back and bring a friend and their kids to share this experience.

I love seafood and wanted to see how generous they were with their lobster portions. I was thoroughly pleased and made a second visit there today, October 5, 2025. I had the Brown Butter Lobster Roll w/ a side of baked beans and was happy as a June Bug! Brian was cool as could be and I told him I will be back with more friends. If you're in Fairfax, VA, you gotta visit them right off Fairfax Blvd., next to Baskin Robbins!

One of the best lobster rolls I've ever eaten! We swung in for lunch and it did not disappoint. I got the brown butter lobster roll with fries. The fresh cut fries were so crispy and not soggy like a lot of other places that serve fresh cut fries definitely upgrade your meal with the fries. My husband got the Super beef the Derby way, it was packed with meat and delicious. Outdoor seating area is nice and plenty of parking behind the store.
