I have come to this location of Sisters Thai many times for to go orders, but my first experience eating in was very disappointing. During the service our waiter did not come to check and ask how the food was or if we needed anything. Other guests had their waters refilled, but we did not have our waters refilled once. Tips, especially large tips, are earned by the quality of service. While I left a small tip and some did not at my table, understandably so, another waitress came over to say “you have to leave a tip” with an attitude. Not only was she saying we had to tip, but we had to tip for bad service. Tips are not required, which is why it is not included. I have always enjoyed this restaurant but I will not be back. If the servers want large tips they need to put in more effort and provide quality service to ALL guests.

I liked the vibe of this place with the bookshelves and all the other decorations. The food tasted good, nothing extraordinary. But I was quite disappointed by the portion sizes, especially for the price. I feel like there are many other Thai places in NOVA and elsewhere that have much bigger portions for that price. It's a decent enough place, and I don't want to give a lower rating, but it I would prefer to go some other place if I'm getting the same quality for less. Overall 3.5/5

Unsanitary. We ordered two dishes yesterday for takeouts and I found hair in my meal. It was delicious but pretty much it ruined the whole dinner once I found out.

The restaurant itself is very nice, however the food is lacking, flavor isn't there, the prices are quite high.

We went here for dinner. Nothing romantic about this place. It is not clean and filthy, it is small, loud and you are seating on your neighbor’s lap. They are not flexible about the menu items. The portions are small. They give you about 2 tablespoons of rice and they charge extra.
Nickel and dime their customers.
Next day I called the place to discuss the issue. I talked with a woman who refused to give me her name and said the manager will call me back and hung up on me.
The manager never called.
Will not go back.

Absolutely delicious! We had shrimp pad thai, pottery shrimp, crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli, and fried spring rolls. Everything was delicious!

I am a student and I couldn’t leave any tip. The waitress came out of the restaurant after I left asking why didn’t I tip her. I told her I am a student and can’t afford to pay tip. She said that if I can’t afford to pay tip i should not be eating at the restaurant. She did this in-front of my friends. Never going back again. Not recommended.

Food was pretty good, but terrible service ruined the experience for me. There were two waitresses and this one lady seemed like she hated me asking questions (two questions about the menu. Literally two, asking “what is ___?”). I am so sorry I asked about Thai dishes that I’m not familiar with but she needs to mind her attitude.

We had dinner here for our friend’s birthday. Loved the romantic decor with its bookshelves filled with books, movie posters in Thai and the menu looked like a newspaper. The staff was friendly and immediately recognized it was a birthday celebration and let us know discreetly they’d bring out a treat later. We had the fishcake appetizer which was delicious and fragrant (and has no fishy taste in case you’re wondering.) We shared a papaya salad set which came with chicken and sticky rice but I didn’t love it, as the salad dressing was a bit on the bland side. The chicken was fine. We also had the duck ka pow; it was average. My drink, The Reminder, was delicious.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. It is located near Main Street and University Drive in Fairfax. It has cute interior decor similar to its other DMV location, and the food is good overall. However, on our last visit, we felt the taste of the dishes was stronger and saltier than usual.
Parking: The parking lot for the office building down the block (on University) is open and accessible after 6 PM. There's also a lot/garage across the street.
