We had dinner here for our friend’s birthday. Loved the romantic decor with its bookshelves filled with books, movie posters in Thai and the menu looked like a newspaper. The staff was friendly and immediately recognized it was a birthday celebration and let us know discreetly they’d bring out a treat later. We had the fishcake appetizer which was delicious and fragrant (and has no fishy taste in case you’re wondering.) We shared a papaya salad set which came with chicken and sticky rice but I didn’t love it, as the salad dressing was a bit on the bland side. The chicken was fine. We also had the duck ka pow; it was average. My drink, The Reminder, was delicious.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. It is located near Main Street and University Drive in Fairfax. It has cute interior decor similar to its other DMV location, and the food is good overall. However, on our last visit, we felt the taste of the dishes was stronger and saltier than usual.
Parking: The parking lot for the office building down the block (on University) is open and accessible after 6 PM. There's also a lot/garage across the street.

Excellent food preparation and presentation!
Excellent and courteous staff!
Excellent taste!
Clean dining area with interesting decor!
All five of our dinner orders were full of great flavor and made exactly as requested!
As the name on the front of the store says sisters Living room, that is exactly how it looks inside. It is tastefully done and comfortable..
I’m sorry I don’t live in this area because I would definitely return, but I hope others reading this review will try it!
Wheelchair accessibility: One small step up to the restaurant level by the front door.

It’s ok, but not as good as courtside around the corner. The first photo is my chicken pad Thai, the bean sprouts and green onions were wilted within, second photo is the dish photo on their menu.

So disappointing! My family and I stopped here for dinner after a long day of running errands. We were greeted by a man with a bun who just pointed to one side of the restaurant and told us to have a seat, there was a woman sitting by the window by herself eating and reading, I didn’t want to disturb her so we went to go sit at the table that had 6 chairs, we were a party of 4. The man with the bun very rudely said you can’t sit here this is for 6 and directed us to sit at a cramped table with 4 chairs in a corner next to the woman. We were handed menus and knew what we wanted right away since we are pretty familiar with Thai food. We all ordered the Chicken Drunken Noodle $15/ea , the food came out very fast but I was very confused when I saw the portion. It was so small I thought maybe it was a lunch portion which I asked and the guy with the man bun said no it was dinner. The portion was probably equal to 1 cup and then garnished with a large handful of shredded cabbage and carrots. The chicken drunken noodles was very dry not a lot of taste at all, they unfortunately did not use enough basil and the taste of sweet soy sauce was basically the dominant flavor. There is clearly no pride or passion at this place just a confused hipster restaurant(trying to figure out whether they want to be a cafe or a restaurant) with cute decor mooching off the fact that they can charge a ridiculous amount for a empty plate of flavorless food in this area. Not to state the obvious but we left there $50 less and starving.

Delicious meals. Staff is knowledgeable about vegan and which meals can be made to be vegan. There's also a lovely cafe with desserts and special milk tea/smoothie drinks.

This is my go to Thai restaurant in the area. I love a lot of dishes from this place. But be careful when ordering spicy food because it will be super hot.

Went to Sisters Thai for lunch. The entrance door is super dirty and that’s alarming . I just hope the kitchen area is not like that! The food came out fast and it was fine. Service was good also.

Great prices. Big portions. Dishes bursting with flavors. Excellent customer service. We ordered the appetizer green curry chicken with Indian naan bread, the famous beef boat soup, ka paw chicken, and drunken noodles chicken-- everything was finger-licking delicious. No wonder they are rated highest in Fairfax area. I'm definitely coming back and bringing my friends.
I ordered online and it didn’t give me the option to set a time for pick up. Since I don’t live close, I called and asked for it to be ready in an hour, they explained the food had already been made and I explained my frustration since I really love sisters Thai and just didn’t want it to be cold. They were polite and agreed to make the food to be ready for my arrival time. Very much appreciate the customer centered service as well as the delicious food!

Great food! Great ambiance. Very chill. Nearby parking can be an issue. There is a covered garage and open surface parking lot across the street from the restaurant but gets full on peak times.

I have eaten here numerous times before and loved the food, but this most recent experience, the food was not good at all.I had ordered three dishes for a family takeout. All three were flavorless. I have never disliked Thai food but this was an exception. The tofu was incredibly chewy, the noodles and rice flavorless. After a few bites, we gave up and made frozen pizza for dinner.
