We frequent this restaurant a few times a year to celebrate special occasions. The service during this visit was lacking. Even though our reservation mention that we were celebrating an anniversary, the hostess and the servers did not follow up on this information. The server was rather inattentive. We had to request the side dishes that normally come automatically to the table. We sought out the manager to find our server when we were ready to consider dessert. We were a large party of nine adults and 4 small children. The meat servers were very accommodating and made the extra effort to serve my daughter who was seated between 2 hair chairs against a wall. Their effort sonewhat salvaged the visit. The next time we plan to celebrate a special occasion at a restaurant, I am not certain if we will return here.
Long time waiting for service. No special service for special occasions. I have been a few times before and it seems like it has gotten very pricey. Over $150 for two people with no desert. Cuts of meat were mostly fatty. I would have rather spent the money on a fancy upscale meal. But all was good overall.
Made a reservation a week ahead to ensure a timely seating once all guests had arrived. Instead, we waited half an hours after our reservation time to get seated. Service was slow and inattentive for what ended up being a large bill for the table. The food was fine, however many of the cuts of meat were fatty. Overall, I would avoid this restaurant/ chain.
It was my birthday and I was stuck way in the back (didn't even know the restaurant was that big). I've been here plenty of times but this time? On my birthday, it didn't feel special. Even the rate of which the meats were being served was delayed. Each time we'd ask for a specific cut of meat, we'd see the servers walking and serving other tables but forget about us. Had to stuff ourselves with sides and the salad bar just so we wouldn't leave feeling unsatisfied. Evidently we left feeling unsatisfied with the amount of $ spent vs the amount of meat consumed.
The atmosphere was very quiet and inviting. All the beef served was at high quality, but the lamb was flavorless, and lamb crops dried. The sausage served was very salty. They had a wonderful salad bar. My server offered my a slice of cake for my birthday, but when I presented the manager my Online coupon, he refused to honor what the server said and added the item to my bill. A deception I would not fall for again.
This was my first time dining at Texas de Brazil in Fairfax. The restaurant location was a bit challenging to find, but the waiter, Joshua was excellent, and the food was good as well. I will definitely be going back.
Most of the meat was too chewy to even eat. We had an entire plate full of pieces that could not be chewed. Also after about fifteen minutes the meat stopped coming (a large party sat down and all the meat was cleared out by time it made it to us). We definitely did not get our value of food that we paid for.
We frequent TDB quite often but this time they missed the mark. We had a party of 10 and were placed in the very back section of the restaurant. The servers were extremely slow to get back to this section. When they did make it back to our section, quite often they had minimal meat left on the skewer. Additionally, on three separate occasions I asked for medium cooked meat for our table, and over the course of the meal spanning a couple hours, did they come by the table with this offering. At the price point you are paying for a meal, this drastically missed the mark. I asked one of the servers to have a manager stop by our table to address the issue but the restaurant was extremely busy and he/she never made it to our table. With this being a celebratory dinner for two birthdays and a anniversary, we tried not to make a big deal over the poor service and focused on the celebration of being together.
We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and having been to TdB at least 42 times before we knew we won't be disappointed but unfortunately we had the worst of experiences (looks like 42nd wasn't the charm). The service was slow the meat we ordered never came and every time they brought meat to our team it was not what we asked for. We complaint our waiter multiple times about the service and our request (who tried his best to ask for right meat type and temp but the servers never listen to him or us) but it never made it to our table. Celebrating an anniversary and leaving with an upset wife, was not how I envisioned to end our anniversary. We've been to TbB so many times before (42 including yesterday's visit) and had worst experience. One day may not stop us from visiting again but I hope this was the last of the bad experiences at such high end restaurants.
First time here, and Loved It! Great food, impeccable service, will be coming back soon. Reasonably priced for the experience.

We have eaten in other Texas de Brazil restaurants, and the staff at the Fairfax location was above and beyond what we have ever experienced. We had such an enjoyable time, I believe in the future we will pick this location over others we have visited in the past.
We came here for a family dinner and unfortunately had a really unpleasant experience with the host. From the start, she had a terrible attitude toward us — giving us dirty looks and seating us all the way in the very back of the restaurant, right next to the bathrooms, even though there were plenty of open tables up front. It honestly felt like she was trying to hide us away where no one would even notice we were there.
When we asked politely to change tables, her attitude didn’t improve at all. Even after we were finally seated, she kept staring at us with the same unpleasant expression, which made the whole dinner uncomfortable.
The rest of the staff was nice and attentive, but her behavior really ruined the experience for us. Hopefully management takes this seriously because no customer should be made to feel unwelcome like that.

Sorry but I not suggesting go there, one is becouse they just have 3 cain of meat and a variety, two is to expensive for just eat a 3 cains of meat. And don't have a especial side of the room for especial occasion.
All the meats were on point cooked perfectly. Service was exceptional. Always a wonderful experience dining here.
Top notch. It beats Chimas hands down at Tysons and is neck and neck with Fuego De Chao off NY Ave in DC. I am a regular here for lunch and dinner.
