The Capital Grille

Natalie was a SUPERB server; she took care of all of our needs anticipating them before we could ask for them. We were not rushed and able to really enjoy our pre dinner cocktails, then flowed naturally into our soups and then GORGEOUS steaks served with parm. Truffle fries and spinach with garlic. Everything was delicious and prepared perfectly! We made a point to tell the manager on duty though I was remiss in getting his name. Truly an unexpected dining experience.

As always we had a great time. Front of house (Zena and devlin) always great. Our server Brian was wonderful!! Brian is absolutely great!! Another server Sean was helping and fantastic. Great food, great service.

Everyone at the fairlakes VA location are amazzing and so friendly. We drive 2 hours 1 way just have dinner there.

Experience was great from beginning to end. This Team excels when it comes to customer service and execution. The entire staff worked together as a Team to create an indelible experience for me and my wife. Capital Grille's across the country operates on a another level, especially the Team in Fairfax. My experience at the Capital Grille, Fairlakes is consistently very good. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. The value.... Well, it is Capital Grille so it's no surprise that it's pricey, but a guaranteed good meal. I participated in restaurant week which was an affordable opportunity to try a 3course meal and it didn't disappoint.

Another really great meal at the Capital Grille. It was Thanksgiving and it was busy and it was awesome. Our server, Emma, was fantastic. 

This restaurant is easily one of our favourites, in part because of Soufian, who is hands down the best waiter in the DMV! He clearly loves his job and executes it with passion, pride and professionalism. He gave us a warm welcome, was very attentive, remembered our likes, dislikes and favourite dishes, and made sure to get our orders just right. Second, I love the lamb chops and truly appreciated the chef making them well done without fussing, making them dry or burning them. They are really tasty and just the right consistency. Soufian's co-pilot, Mary, was friendly and very efficient, with a good sense of humour. Even though the restaurant is big you don't feel overwhelmed, perhaps because there are different sections. The ambiance is warm and the decor is cozy so one feels right at home.

We dined at Capital Grille for Thanksgiving. Our server, Zoe, was phenomenal, one of the best in our experience! The ‘prix fixe' was very nice, the ambience lovely, but the delightful attention given to all at our table was superior in every way. Zoe is a tremendous asset to your staff!

Without a doubt, some of the best steak you will ever have in life, and yes everything else tasted superb. Service is impeccable, from the hosts right when you walk in, to the unseen contributors which quality demands. Jack attended to us and had delectable suggestions, they were only eclipsed by his attentive demeanor. Smooth yet well themed decore worthy of, and adding to, an exquisite night of dining in Fairfax.

I am beyond shocked. That this restaurant wont accomodate a headcount. Like really. I go to restaurants daily and shocked to hear this. My mom just called me and said they cant take 2 people off our headcount, its too late. Huh?? When the dinner is on saturday. What kind of service is this. I am beyond shocked. Especially with the $$$ type of restaurant. You would expect expectations for a certain type of service. This aint mcdonalds.... I run food groups online with thousands of members locally, and I will ask for opinions. Ive never heard this before. This is beyond ridiculous, basically taking my moms money without delivering food and service because 2 of those people will not attend. Makes no sense to me

Everything was wonderful. I had made our reservation for the wrong date. Accommodations were made which was wonderful. The staff and Barbara made the evening special.

The capital grill In Fair Oaks was a great experience, we sat at the bar and met Shayla who makes the best Martinis ever, her service is above and beyond. I have no idea how she can do it but no matter how many people are at the bar she gives each and every one of them her undivided attention and nobody is waiting. Way to go Shayla see you next time.

We love the Capital Grille. It is such a and welcoming place, and the food is delicious. Best of all is the service. We always look forward to being served by Shayla. She is absolutely fabulous - so delightful and efficient, and she always makes our visits special.
