Really sad to hear this place has closed. We'd just moved to the area but it was probably our favorite restaurant, always delicious and welcoming. Shame on the landlord for removing something of real value from the city.

Great place, best firewood oven pizza! Superb service, friendly and efficient. Sad to see they are losing their Fairfax City location,

This place is mediocre. The service was good. But the food is not authentic Italian. We had the lasagna which was some dried up lasagna noodles that were layered and a tad of cheese thrown on top and some ground hamburger with unseasoned tomato sauce also thrown on top. It was the worst lasagna I ever tasted. The calamari was far over cooked. The veal could have been good but it had a taste of old grease. It was soggy. I was severely disappointed because the food was not quality and not authentic Italian.

Service was pretty good, setting was okay, but the dish I had, just didn't have much flavor and didn't feel like they were trying to do anything with it. It was spaghetti with basic, slightly acidic tomato sauce that didn't have anything like herbs or salt or meat flavor. The meatballs weren't as tasty as a place like Giuseppe's where you can really taste some pork mixed in there. Pretty sure the menu said it was meat sauce but it was about one spoonful of ground beef. Also the bread wasn't toasted, crusty, or even warmed up. Just room temperature white bread. The desserts look pretty good, not sure what the point is of putting them on a buffet table in the middle of everything, where they can just soak up covid sneezes. But after the disappointing spaghetti I decided to pass.

I love this little place. It's reminiscent of old world Italian food from a Nonna's kitchen. It's no frills yet cute at the same time. It looks as though it used to be a Pizza Hut when they did indoor dining. But I feel that makes it all the more charming. The ambiance is fantastic! The staff are absolutely incredible and the owner is there directing traffic and is very engaged. We loved the food and the prices are unbeatable! It has become our go to place for Italian!

Love, love, love Espositos. Everything here is good. They have my favorite side salad of all time (those carrots are heaven!). Always an excellent choice for dinner.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant which I have gone to over 30 years. Pizzas cooked in a wood- burning oven, homemade pasta and sauces. Eggplant Parmesan one of the best dishes I have ever had! Staff friendly and very family friendly. Prices great!

I'm at a loss for words here. I've read all the five star Reviews and I just don't understand. My husband and I went to Espositos on a week night. I ordered the fried eggplant parmesan with spaghetti . It was total mush and tasted awful. The spaghetti sauce was more like tasting a can of tomato sauce thrown on some noodles. My husband had chicken Marsala. His dish was soaked in Marsala. The chicken was just ok. The service was nothing special. But everything to me was tasteless. The bread was the only thing good. I just don't understand how people can say this place is so good. Definitely no love in this food!

Amazing!! Our first time, and not our last. We were greeted and immediately seated with several smiles. The food was fresh and delicious. My only recommendation would be to offer a house Italian dressing on the salad and dipping oil for their bread.

Nice neighborhood restaurant, basic fare. The chicken dish I ordered was made with Marsala wine but wouldn't call it chicken Marsala. Good flavor though accented with lemon and rosemary. Others at table reported cream of broccoli soup as tasty and sausage and pepper dish as fresh with a hint of sweetness. Atmosphere more like a diner than upscale restaurant but did utilize cloth tablecloths and napkins

Always good there. Holiday menu now has the hidden gem of sausage and peppers!Kid-friendliness: Not so much kid friendliness but just total friendliness. I wholehearted with indoorsed this place. You'd probably drive right on by but if you like good Italian food on this side of the ocean you like this place. And don't be afraid to ask for things that aren't on the menu.

Authentic, fresh superb Italian dishes. Family owned and operated. I love seeing the same quality staff. I loved being served by adults instead of college kids who care less about your dining experience. All servers speak fluent Italian. It feels like you might of just had a visit in Italy. Homemade tiramisu is excellent. Pizzas are fantastic, crispy crust right out of a real brick pizza oven. Mozzarella sticks are incredible and unique-hand made, not restaurant supply store. Calamari is lightly battered, tender and tasty. Highly recommend this establishment.

Was super excited to try this place for the first time and when we walked in the hostess didn’t really greet us how we expected. She wasn’t welcoming at all and made us feel like we were a nuisance when asking to dine in. The food was definitely not worth the price that we paid. The portion was too small for the price and the food didn’t have as much flavor.

My wife had pasta here next day she was sick, my friend had a salad here the same day he was sick- the only good dish (OR) at least non-infectious food is "chicken francese" which is the only one I had whenever I go to this restaurant. The owner lady here seems to be so rude and mentally disturbed where one day without my consent she included the "Tip" amount in my bill and when I questioned her about this obnoxious behavior, she pointed me that I would never give tips to her employee's and so she included the tip amount without my knowledge. I did include OR gave tips couple or more times for sure but not frequently since the service was not that good. If the owner have thought to get tips she would have asked me but without my knowledge this selfish rude lady included the tip amount in my bill and argued with me without feeling or saying sorry for her actions. I think she needs to increase the pay/salary amount of her employee's instead of begging/stealing amount from her customers.
