Just tried Yu Noodles in Fairfax —

Here’s my quick take:
Walked in not expecting much, but the place has a clean, no-frills vibe that feels pretty authentic. You can tell this is more about the food than the experience.

Started with the soup dumplings — honestly, these are the reason to come here. Good broth inside, not too greasy, and held together well (which is half the battle with XLB).

I had a great experience at Yu Noodles! The food was delicious and full of flavor, but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They made me feel very comfortable from the moment I walked in. Highly recommend!

Popped in for some takeaway on a work trip before my flight home. Next time I'm down here you won't be able to pry me away from this place! I want to try everything! I wasnt sure what to get so I got the rainbow soup dumplings. The pork peppercorn was absolutely spectacular. The scallion pancake is what dreams are made of. The folks there were so sweet while I was waiting, it hardly felt like there was a wait at all!
