We love the food here. This is our favorite place at Eden Center; we’ve been back three times. Especially good is the papaya salad and the mixed crepe platter (1A). Friendly service, too.

We were visiting Virginia to spend time with family and friends and decided to stop by Eden Center for a quick bite. With so many Vietnamese restaurants to choose from in the plaza, we decided to give Banh Cuon Thang Long a try. The restaurant felt a bit dated, but it was mostly clean and had that classic Vietnamese restaurant atmosphere with traditional decor throughout.

Atmosphere -
The restaurant definitely shows its age, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It has a traditional Vietnamese restaurant vibe with older decor and a straightforward dining room. While nothing about the space stood out, it was mostly clean and comfortable enough for a casual meal.

Service -
Service was good overall. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. Nothing particularly memorable, but no complaints either.

What We Ordered -
-Com Tam Bi Suon Cha (Grilled Pork Chop with Shredded Pork and Egg Meatloaf) - The flavors were very good overall, but the pork chop itself was noticeably tough and dry, which took away from the dish.
-Banh Uot Dac Biet - Very good. The noodle sheets were soft and fresh. Flavors were on point.

Final Thoughts -
Overall, we enjoyed our visit. While the grilled pork chop was a bit disappointing, the rest of the food was solid and the Banh Uot Dac Biet alone was worth ordering. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, I would return again and be interested in trying more of the menu.

I recently visited Banh Cuon Thang Long and honestly, it exceeded my expectations in the best way.From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, authentic, and very much like a hidden gem tucked inside Eden Center. It’s not a flashy place but that’s part of the charm. You can tell right away that the focus is on the food and the experience.
The bánh cuốn was the highlight soft, delicate rice rolls filled with savory ingredients and topped with fresh herbs, crispy elements, and perfectly seasoned fish sauce. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and balanced. The flavors were light but still satisfying, which is exactly what you want from authentic Vietnamese cuisine. What really made the experience stand out was the service. Phuoc was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. It felt personal, not rushed, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure guests enjoyed their meal.The menu has a great variety, but you can’t go wrong with their signature dishes. It’s clear they focus on traditional preparation and fresh ingredients, which really comes through in every bite. Overall, if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food that feels homemade and full of flavor, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality from Phuoc, he made my experience so much better. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We got banh cuon takeout last night and it was cold, about to go bad. The one with the shrimp especially was about to go bad.

Service was really attentive and super nice and super opinionated which I enjoy. The food was fresh and plentiful. I really enjoyed the fresh spring rolls with sausage and fried crunchy inside along with the fresh herbs and noodles. It was delicious.

This Vietnamese restaurant lands in the average-to-good range overall. Service and atmosphere were both pretty average, nothing especially memorable. On the plus side, the coffee was very good and strong, which was a nice highlight. The appetizer spring rolls were really good, with a generous amount of meat filling, and the pho was solid as well — it had a slightly sweet flavor that was different in a good way. Overall, a decent spot with a few standout items.

Steamed rice rolls with pork loaf and the broken rice here are amazing! 😍
The meat is tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious — but the best part is the fish sauce 🤗✨
So tasty and well-balanced, it really makes the whole meal perfect 🍽️💖

Clean restaurant, nice staff, and big portions. Ordered 2 noodle soups and the meats were cooked with quality. They give a big serving of noodles. I'd come back to explore the other dishes.

Order small rice noodle（$13 on menu) and they charge me $16 which is a SCAM! No service not even giving u a cup of water. The taste of noodle was mediocre.

Literally the best place to get bun bo hue, it’s packed with flavor. So much vegetables and noodles are given with generosity and everyone here is kind. They are authentic i love them.
