Randomly found this spot for a weekday dinner. Definitely aiming to be more on the fancier side rather than traditional. The prices for amount of food ratio is quite off compared to most other places in the area. The food itself is not bad but not great. The pork/egg that came out was tiny. Service is pleasant and attentive.
The owners really take pride on both the decorating and the cooking. The services are always with some personal touches; lots of regular customers. Nice homie ambiance and authentic Vietnamese dishes.

We enjoy many cuisines and the DC area is rich with choices. That said, this is our favorite restaurant and the only one that is part of our routine. The atmosphere is modest but comfortable, the people are thoughtful and make you feel like family. But the food - it is just absolutely fantastic. I have yet to find another Viet - or really any other cuisine establishment that can touch their quality.
