It was the first time for all 9 of us to visit this establishment and we couldn't have been more please. They have a hilarious board that says "do not discuss in our restaurant" which we talked to the owner about at length. He was entertaining and the food and service were great! Very family friendly too.
Food is great but unfortunately this time around our young waitress was not well prepared. Our guest was still eating and she brought us the bill without asking if we wanted anything else.
I love this place so I'll never go below 3 stars, but their Italian Beef is nowhere near authentic. Thick and dry roast beef with the bottom bun sightly damp with Au Jus. Anyone who's ever eaten an Italian Beef in Chicago knows they are super thin sliced, juicy, and served wet unless asked otherwise. Even if celebrity Delly doesn't want to do messy sandwiches they could at least provide a side of Au Jus by default so I can do it myself. Everything else there is...
