Dominion Wine and Beer

The cocktails were not good. Indigo was was too sweet and so was the maple old fashioned. So much so that they were sent back. Ordered a regular old fashioned and it was watered down. Service was slow. I expected better cocktails from a location that prides itself on drinks.

The food is really great. The ambience is fun. The service is terrible. We came two weeks in a row because we loved it so much, but they are horribly understaffed and unprepared. So, two weeks back to back, understaffed— our server (both times and the only one) was deer in headlights. Nothing came on time, things not delivered, curdled milk without any solution. No hostess for seating (twice). Staff seemed incapable of delivering things on time or on request. Tough call because...

Dominion has the best selection of craft beers in Fairfax County. This is complimented by a excellent menu. The food is unique and delicious. The burgers are phenomenal, and they always rotate in a interesting dish. Seating feels intimate and cozy
