“Finding a Filipino restaurant isn’t easy. So learning about Purple Patch thru Jo Koy—has ended this search! Literally, Filipino cuisine heaven! The restaurant is uniquely decorated, the staff were friendly, & the food hit that major comfort button for us! Thank you Zahara for being so sweet & a wonderful waitress. We can’t wait to come back for more!“

“My recent visit to Sari Filipino Kusina with my son was nothing short of a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere drew us in. The restaurant combines modern decor with touches of Filipino culture, creating a setting that’s both stylish and cozy.
The food is the real highlight. We started with lumpiang shanghai, which was perfectly crisp and packed with flavor, a promising start to our meal. I went for the adobo, which was tender, rich, and savory, while my son chose the sinigang, a soup that had just the right balance of tanginess and warmth. The lechon kawali we shared was incredibly crispy outside, with melt-in-your-mouth tenderness inside—a true treat.
Dessert was a shared halo-halo, and it was fantastic. It’s a layered, colorful mix of flavors and textures that ended the meal on a refreshing note.
Sari Filipino Kusina is a gem for anyone who loves authentic Filipino flavors or wants to try something new. Our meal here was not just food—it was a shared experience that we’ll remember fondly. Highly recommended!“

“The tasty food is one thing BUT one thing which stood out for me is their great customer service. Jane and her other colleague were all smiles, kind and attentive. You can tell they love the job that they do. This is the kind of service you wanna comeback for more. I also appreciate that they're wearing a transparent mouth shield as it looks more neat than a regular mask. They offer free soup and coffee on top of your regular order which is great since it's winter around this time. I hope they can be consistent with their business approach and I wish their new store a success!“

“Very good sushi and skewers. The bartender was super nice and made delicious cocktails. The Zuki moon Pilsner was very good as well. We got the deluxe tuna roll and rib eye skewers. Can’t wait to go back and try other items. Highly recommend!“

“If you haven't tried this filipino restaurant you are missing out. They might have all the fast food chicken places cooked. The spicy and original are both amazing. Spicy means spicy, too. Don't get thrown off by the spaghetti either. Filipino spaghetti is good with the balance of savory and sweet flavors. And who doesn't want a side of gravy to dip the chicken in or the biscuit, or to pour over the rice. Don't skip on the peach mango pie either. I wished there was one close to where I live.“

“A hole in the wall (or hidden gem, if you will) that is very homely and gives you a great diners' feel with the bar seats and 4 people tables. The ladies behind the bar dabbled in everything: seating us, chatting with us, taking our orders, cooking, making drinks, cleaning, serving dessert, and even manned the checkout. The Lumpia was made fresh (took a while to come out) so the skin was crispy, yet light and not soaked in oil. The Lechon (crispy pork belly) was exceptionally crunchy and the sauce added some tanginess that had me coming back for more; paired with the garlic rice, it was a great and filling meal. We also had the pork adobo, which was tangy and savory (makes my mouth water just thinking about it, while writing this review), again paired with garlic rice, the exceptional flavors were elevated. I highly recommend pairing their dishes that come with white rice, to opt for garlic rice. Lastly, we finished off the meal with a halo-halo, which is shaved rice with sweetened condense milk, ube ice cream, and assorted sweet jelly.
Since this is a really small establishment, I highly recommend only visiting with max of 4 people, to not take up too much space and to also ensure that you get hot and fresh food as they can serve it quickly.“
