The food was great, except I never got my food. Was in a group of 7 celebrating Father’s Day and everyone else got their food but mine never came. Don’t think it was our servers fault but rather the kitchen that wasn’t listening to our server. Our server gave us free desserts to make up for it which was nice. Coffees and the food I tasted were really good!
Godfrey’s is a cute little addition to the little city. The food is good and the ambiance is wonderful — they have a great outdoor patio! Unfortunately, the service is consistently lacking. The food orders aren’t well timed (coffees come out after the meal). This has been an issue since they opened. Today I did an online pickup for an iced latte and a sliced bread loaf. I've never felt compelled to write a Google review until today. I ate their with another couple this past weekend. Total bill for the four of us was over $300 (separated by 5 bills). Food was pretty good. The dining area was a bit dark, but that could be because it was overcast outside. Service wasn't much. Most importantly, the cashier seemed really put off that I only tipped 18 percent. Keep in mind that you go up to the cashier to order and you bus your own...
