DELICIOUS. We were seated immediately, food came quickly, and there were great vegetarian options. The server was friendly though not overbearing. You pay at the counter when you're done. The whole experience was smooth and tasty. I can't wait to go back.

Really good authentic Vietnamese food. Banh xeo was delish. We appreciate that the dishes were served with generous helpings of fresh herbs and the fish sauce was not watered down like many other places. Highly recommend it.

Heard good things about this place. We were sadly disappointed. If we were in the Midwest and this was the only Vietnamese restaurant available, it would get a better review. However, this was in Eden center and there is stiff competition. Had the grilled pork, fried spring rolls, crab fried rice, beef and rice, and fried squid. The beef was rubbery and the squid was not very flavorful. Service was perfunctory and stereotypically neglectful.

We chose this restaurant due to the good reviews on Google. Nevertheless, two of the three dishes we ordered had issues, while the third (pho tai) was passable. At the time of our visit, the restaurant was pretty busy with a mostly Asian clientele (including families). These customers seemed content, but we were disappointed. The banh xeo was served with leafy greens that were clearly not 100% clean. As a result, we didn't touch any of the greens. Meanwhile, the pork chop with rice was either overcooked or reheated from the previous day's unsold food. It was too dry and difficult to chew (and lukewarm when served), and I have a hard time believing it was cooked to order as the restaurant claimed. Perhaps the lesson is don't have an early lunch before the kitchen is running smoothly.

Finally got to try Hai Duong & it did not disappointđŸ€€ we got #30 and 42. Both sooo flavorful and a lot of food. The crispy spring rolls in 42 were a highlight for sure. It was a super busy day at the Eden center but we were seated right away and service was quick. Can’t wait to come back & try more of the menu!

The interior of the restaurant is appealing, but the food left much to be desired. We ordered pho, and unfortunately, the beef soup lacked flavor—it almost tasted like water. We attempted to mask the blandness with hoisin sauce and sriracha to avoid wasting food. The appetizers were passable, though the stuffing could have been fresher and more flavorful. My sister chose another dish that looked enticing in the window, but she found it only to be acceptable, at least better than the pho. Overall, this wasn't our favorite experience.

Food was mid, server was terrible, we ordered apps and never got them. Young boy was server, does not listen or pay attention well, he is costing your business $$$.

Amazing Pho! 20/10 would recommend! I got the combination pho with well done and rare brisket, tripe and some others. The quality of the noodles are high, cooked to perfection. Springy noodly but not too firm. The broth was exquisite to say the least packed with so much flavor. Each sip is like a flavor blast to the palate. The meat portions are very generous. Tender, flavorful, scrumptious brisket. They’re nice people with amazing food. If you’re craving Pho get your Pho king behind to this place! Because they are the king of Pho! Pun intended!

Vegetarian options: They got everything.

Parking: So much parking you could bring your entire family.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s the first one to the left so it’s easy to access. With two openable doors.

It's been a few years since I've visited Hai Duong. I really liked their food in the past as they have a lot of Northern Vietnamese dishes that you can't get in other restaurants. I was super excited to visit but was so disappointed this time.

We ordered the Banh Xeo (savory pancake with shrimp and pork) and the Lemongrass Pepper Chicken.

Within a few minutes, the food was already on the table. That should have been the first clue that something was amiss. The Banh Xeo was good on the edges but as we got to the middle which had more stuffing, something tasted putrid. Im not sure if it was the pork or the sprouts. The meat in the Lemongrass Chicken was especially dry. I have a feeling that it was pre-cooked and they just heat it up.

Overall, nothing tasted fresh or worth the price on the food.

The pho is just okay- the soup isn’t too flavorful and is very light tasting. The special pho was also a lot pricier than expected (~$18). The bun bo hue meat is a bit tough to my personal preference.
