Tried Hong Kong Palace for the first time tonight for take out. I was hopeful since the results were decent. Ordered Egg Rolls, Wanton Soup, General Tao's Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice. To start off my order was incorrect I was missing one of my orders of soup =(, we'll see if I get my money back. The soup was decent but definitely have had more flavorful soup elsewhere. The General Tao's and the shrimp fried rice were very bland. The best dish was the egg rolls, but it was fried and covered in duck sauce.

We always had a super good time when we went there. The food is super good, and the service is top! There's nothing more to say, except it's a very good address.

I never knew this little spot existed prior to today! Anyways, I ordered my favorite dishes - spicy sichuanese fried chicken and tofu and fish - and the food was quite good! Glad I discovered another Chinese restaurant to add to my short list.

I've been going to hkp since 2018 and the last 2 times was nasty food. It was dry and flavorless . My chicken and cashews had slices of ginger left in it, that I kept biting into it. (So gross. See attached picture). I tried it last night again, thinking maybe they were having a bad day. They must have gotten a new cook who can't cook. They used to have the best chicken & cashews EVER! So I will no be going back. I WISH THEY HAD NEGATIVE RATINGS OPTIONS....

Ordered moo shu chicken via Uber eats. Hardly any chicken. Tiny bits of chicken. I order white rice and didn’t get it. Woman who answered the phone said it didn’t come with rice. Even my receipt says 1x White rice. I had to select my choice of rice when I ordered. I don’t mind so much when someone makes a mistake but I do not like that she tried to make it look like my mistake. Says something about her. I have been a frequent costumer dining in and ordering for delivery for almost 2 years. I just can’t go in there again. The response from restaurant makes me even more unsatisfied. Wish I could give no stars.

Great restaurant across the board! Plenty of Sichuan favorites--we ordered the 鱼香肉丝 (fish fragrant pork)--but also Cantonese staples such as Yangzhou fride rice. The USA stuff too was amazing--probably the best General Tso's chicken I've had in the DMV. The prices are great for the area too; my wife, my 5 yo, and myself were starving and loaded up on food and paid $53.00 for three dishes, soda, and white rice (included with the dishes). The atmosphere is great because it feels cozy and whole in the wall-y. Great for casual meals but if you're looking for luxury settings go elsewhere. I personally wouldn't change it a bit.

We ordered food online for delivery, website seemed a little outdated, but thought nothing of it. Since making the purchase on their website my card information has been stolen and attempts to use it have luckily been declined by my bank. I rarely use this card, but Hong Kong Palace only accept Visa online so I was forced to use it for the purchase, so I have a very good feeling it was this website that was compromised.Overall the food was good and the delivery was on time and we would consider ordering again, but will definitely be calling the restaurant if we do.

Got the:- Bok Choy with mushrooms- Yang Zhou Fried Rice- Old Buddhist Braised Pork- Salt and Pepper Pork Chop- Crispy Beef- Diced Chicken with Hot PeppersAll delicious and it was hard to rank which ones I liked the best. The amount was actually a bit too much food for 4 people but it was worth it. Customer service was nice and answered our questions regarding some of the dishes. Great atmosphere.

Mapo tofu is not spicy enough but flavor was okay. Tofu used to be more soft / silken which I prefer but the new recipe had a firmer texture. Frustrating to not be able to order mapo tofu with meat on the apps when you know it can be ordered with pork or beef in restaurant. Most food is good here just sometimes frustrating how different the same dish can be order to order here. I swear the 2nd time I ordered mapo here it was the best dish I've ever eaten but have never been served the same version again.

Really disappointed. First time visiting and we ordered carry out. General Tso chicken and shrimp friend rice with two egg rolls. So disappointing! The rice is mushy. The egg rolls are overcooked. The chicken is HARD. There are about four shrimp in our order. I will not be returning. No way.
