I recently had lunch there and I enjoyed the Greek Salad and the Spicy noodle salad. I can honesty say they were very good and I'm not into salads. I do not live in the immediate area. So I went home and was telling my husband about it and he said why don't you ask to purchase their dressing. So I called and asked if I could purchase the dressing. The owner came on the phone and got an attitude like it was the stupidest question she ever heard. Her reasoning for not selling the dressing to me was that she didn't have a container to put it in I could brought er a container. The way she acted you would have thought I asked for the recipe. I felt so stupid after talking to her. think it's a compliment that someone would want to purchase the dressing. Idk people these days are so weird.

The south side cafeteria, the sandwiches were soggy in the warmer to long. The next morning about 445am looking for a hot breakfast again premade sandwiches and were prepared cold, not made to order. Coffee was great every time. The one lady making quesadillas for the employees hot, and told me that they are already made. In the warmer. Was there 3 days. Hospital and the nurses was outstanding. Need to take care of the people that are with family. Speaking of the food service only.

bad customer service and a rude guy who would not even listen to your orders and gets angry after you question him.

This is a very sad place! I have come here as a visitor for five consecutive days and have not been greeted once. Associates are busier talking to each other rather than helping customers. Managers (no uniform) appear miserable serving food or are not seen at all.Food is what one imagines as hospital food, tasteless and loveless, but the time for that has long passed. Get creative, others do it too!And BTW, smile, it goes a long way!

Most of the time I get exceptional service here. But lately the service and quality of the product has declined. I have been going to the deli for years and yesterday I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. The lady who made my sandwich was new but had been there for several months. She took my pulled pork sandwich and pressed it in a panini press and passed me this sandwich that was soggy and inedible. I told her that this is the incorrect way to prepare the sandwich and if she just gave me the proper bread I would switch the sandwich on to the new bread. She refused to fix my sandwich correctly and then the young Korean gentleman (who happens to be the owners son) at the register came over and said this is "her special way" to make the sandwich. He was very rude and said even though you have been coming here for years she is new... this is how she fixes it and walked away. I was very upset and I had never experienced such horrible customer service or such horrible food preparation EVER! This will definitely change my patronage to this Deli and even though Panera is a further walk away I would rather walk over where I can receive consistent food products and good customer service. I will keep my money in my pocket. As far as all of the customers and patients that I regularly recommended to Park Ave on a weekly basis over the past 12 years I have been a customer, I can just refer them somewhere else from now on...-------------What should have initially happened was that the food should have just been prepared correctly and the owner's son should not have argued down a patron. Your response blames the worker for a mistake that could have easily been corrected... What is the explanation for the son of the owner of the deli having such a rude disposition?

Best food in the hospital. Sometimes crave the Buffalo chicken sandwich when I’m not at work

It's just cafeteria food. Overpriced for what it is. People like their spicy noodles and ham and cheese if you have to eat there.

Two words. Breakfast Burritos. They're amazing and affordable with the best sauce you've ever tasted. Plus great jokes every week on the white board and yummy fountain Cokes !!! A refreshing option compared to hospital cafeteria food

Found myself at Fairfax hospital yet again. This time for my girlfriend. While she was getting a battery of tests, I had to get something to eat. I ordered the Rueben sammich, a small bowl of cantaloupe and red grapes and a strawberry/banana Naked juice. The bill came to $15.61. The Naked juice was refreshing and the grapes were great but the Reuben was, in a word, awful. It wasn't really warm enough, the meat had a weird taste to it and cheese choice wasn't working at all. And then I remembered were I was... a hospital I actually took it back inside and they let me me order a turkey club. Much better. I changed my rating from 3 to 4 because sandwich 2 was delicious.
