Frostnight

I traveled up from south carolina to visit a friend, and was really looking forward to trying this place out. Google said closes at midnight, door says closes at midnight. 930, they were closed.

Legit dim sum. Husband reports he would give it 17 out of 5 stars if he could.

I’m a dim sum super fan. Trust me when I say the dim sum here is the best in the area! The staff/servers are so genuine and nice. Truly, they are so sweet. Highly recommend!

I give this place a 6.5/10! It was super busy, but surprisingly, we got seated after a 5 min wait (we only had two people though). But, my rating stands cause even though the food tasted great, it was slightly oily and some of the foods were cold and not even warm, so that kinda killed it for me ? Nonetheless, service was quick and they do the carts!!

The restaurant is famous for their roast duck and roast pig. The Cantonese foods and dim sums are excellent also. Seatings tend to be tight, especially for large parties and on weekends. The restaurant has been closed for a complete remodel during the pandemic, with new furniture, new lighting, carpet, wall paper and tv, and new bar and bathroom. Now it’s more comfortable and cleaner and brighter.Parking: No handicap parking in front, and spaces are tight for large cars

Can’t believe it took me so many years to visit marks duck house and I regret not going sooner! We ordered a few dim sum, half peking duck and a veggie dish. All are incredible. The quality of shumai and steamed dumplings are up there. You can really taste the shrimp in the filling. The duck skin is so crispy, pairing with sharp green onions and sweet sauce to make a perfect wrap. The greens in fermented tofu sauce is very soothing and savory, a popular way to prepare leafy greens in Cantonese cuisine. Highly recommend. It can get busy even during the week so coming early seems to be the winning strategy. Service is prompt and friendly. The display window with all the roasted meat looks so mouthwatering. I need to go back soon!

Poor service, tried to kick out people once you finished your food. Food was not freshly made either.

This is such a great find! Waitstaff is very friendly. The roast pork buns were one of the best I've had. Their beef rolls had so much beef in it. We had to order extra beef rolls. The noodles were soft, cooked really well. All the dishes were pretty on point Except the tofu, kinda hard. I had that doggy bagged and it hit the spot when I was starving. Wait staff is also very baby friendly, they were very interactive with my baby. She enjoyed her time here also. Will be visiting again soon!

Best dim sum around - owners and staff are fantastic, long-term employees. You can get westernized Chinese, Vietnamese, and Hong Kong food, or traditional of the same.

It's our go-to Sunday morning, we arrive before the church crowds. It's our favorite dimsum place, and I can't think of anything I wouldn't recommend. Great food!

Roast duck, chicken feet and siomai are all goodThere was a seafood roll that was very dry and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I came for their dim sum, and appreciated the typical Chinese carts of food! There were so many options. My favorite was of course their Siu Mai! It was very meaty and had a very good taste that I'm unable to imitate at home when I make it. I tried their typical dim sum plates too, like Har Gow, Char Siu bao, shrimp ball ($14 each ahh), different buns. I think everything was tasty. I'd give it just a 3/5 only because of how it compares to Hong Kong Pearl, which is located just down the street. The service was good, and we had a good seat where the cart always passed by first so we could get fresh plates. The ambience was like a typical Chinese restaurant. It definitely wasn't as crowded as other dim sum spots. If you're looking for a decent dim sum spot with a lot of food options, and one that doesn't require reservations or arriving early for a table, definitely stop by Mark's Duck House. Otherwise, I'd recommend coming just for their Peking Duck!!

We went for both the roasted duck and the Dim Sum small plates. We're in search of the Best in the greater DMV metro area.
