We ordered takeout from Nazret Ethiopian Restaurant and tried three different dishes. Every single one was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic, the portions were generous, and everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed every bite and finished all the food. It was one of the best Ethiopian takeout meals we’ve had. We’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!
One of the few Ethiopian restaurant that continuously maintain their standards despite their popularity. As an Ethiopian born who experienced several Ethiopian cuisine, the authenticity here is top.
I had high expectations from the reviews, but was pretty disappointed. The food was not terrible, but the DC area has much better Ethiopian food, so I disagree with the exceptionally high ratings this restaurant has. We got a veggie platter and the lamb tibs. Lamb was pretty decent, but most of the items on the veggie platter were meh. The collard greens and cabbage were overcooked and mushy and the lentils were too salty, and the food didn't feel fresh.
