We went for restaurant week and enjoyed the all you could eat option at the bar. First, I’d like to say our bartender Jaden was fantastic and incredibly friendly and helpful. I had the tamarind margarita which was fun, smooth and thoroughly enjoyable. My husband had the wooden tiger which came smoked and he also enjoyed.

I reserved a birthday table for 2. The vibes were perfectly intimate as I came with my boyfriend. The food here is amazing - flavors of Vietnamese cuisine being used in a new way was extremely fun to try as a Vietnamese American. The drinks were also crafted so uniquely, each with their own stories. The service was phenomenal and on top of their game.

Nue has replaced tipping with a 20% up charge on the bill . The wait staff also will ask you to tip additionally over the 20% . I didn’t like the feeling of being put on the spot about tipping before my food arrived . The food is excellent, but not any better than other more moderately priced Vietnamese restaurants in NOVA that don’t have a 20% mark up . For this reason , I would suggest going elsewhere .
