Very famous chinese restaurant. When you walk in, you will notice hundreds of pictures of famous people from past presidents to musicians. Their duck is outstanding.

This was my favorite Chinese restaurant for years. However, they are so busy all the time that they have forgotten much about customer service. I called for a reservation and the lady on the phone silple said. “ party of three is first come first serve” and hung up the phone.

The food is too bad for the price, and the fried rice had hair. I think it‘s better to order everything you want to stop at the local Chinese food than here. 그냥 가지마세요. 돈아까워 죽겠음 . 가성비 최악 .

Let's Go

The duck was definitely the highlight, but I would choose other restaurants for better food. We came here for the Peking duck, and we were not disappointed. The skin was crispy and not oily. The thing I didn't like was the taco-like wrap they used. They were too thick and tough, and covered up the nice duck flavor. I much prefer the thin white ones some other places use. It's not a deal breaker though. We were happy with the duck.We also ordered lamb chops, jumbo shrimps, and young bean leafs. The lamb and shrimp were disappointing. They were bland and too Americanized. The veggies was excellent. It was very fresh and had "wok hei" (high flame cooking to retain the freshness). While it was great, it was a whopping $50 and double the price at other restaurants. The service was excellent. The waiter and waitress were attentive. However I didn't like the upselling when we ordered the food. We didn't want the lamb chop but the waiter insisted it was great. At $50 a dish, I would be ok if it was good, but it was not.

This place is overrated, the seasoning is bland and the food is cooked with very low quality oil. My stomach immediately got upset after eating the orange chicken. I ordered 3 plates and it turned out to be 121 dollars. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have no idea what the hype is

Good food, HUGE portions, lots of great photos on the way walls of DC people eating there. The food was a little greasy & messy & expensive but still good & I was glad to check it off my list of “must visit” restaurants in the DC area.

This is the most shady restaurant in Washington DC. The prices are ridiculously high and the food is terrible. I am very disappointed and will never go there again.

Fantastic food and service. Ambiance of the charts; the white table cloths, lighting, attentive servers. The outside is a bit unappealing but you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how large and beautiful the inside of the restaurant is. The standard for Chinese restaurants, will be back!

They have half portion of duck for two. But you must try their garlic sprout dishes. Flavor and texture were great.
