Where celebrity and non-celebrity alike make a pilgrimage of sorts. One of the more historic food establishments in the area. A vestige of the historic Cold War perhaps. Many come for a taste of the iconic farm-raised duck. But the choices do not stop at that. And it’s bigger than just the content or the food.
I definitely recommend this place! It’s become one of my family’s favorite restaurants for celebrations and special dinners. Every dish we’ve tried has been delicious. My favorites are the Peking Gourmet Special, the Beef Gourmet, wonton soup, and lo mein. Every time we come here, I end up ordering more because everything is so good. The food is consistently excellent, the portions are generous, and the service is always great. We always leave happy...

Came here while visiting DC with the wife and 7 yr old son.
Saw the peking duck was $79 for a whole duck, asked if they had a half duck portion, our server Jay said yes half a duck is $45 but he recommends getting the whole duck. There's only 2.5 of us, so we decided to get the half duck, he didn't seem too happy. Asked us if we wanted cucumbers...
