Used to be one my favorite places for Korean bbq, and was high on my list of places to recommend to others, but with each visit I have noticed the portion size getting smaller. I feel like the price to meat ratio now is becoming a bit unfair (at least for me). Hence, 4 stars.

1st time in a Korean grill restaurant…and it did not disappoint. All-you-can-eat Signature Ayce is a great option for trying the different cuts of meat. Tried the chadol, spicy pork belly, marinated kalbi, prime ribeye, and the baby back ribs. House-made kimchi and picked radishes were on point.

We ordered kalbi and they brought out leftover end pieces of various cuts (picture below)z Do you think the customers are stupid?? Shady business.

I love kbbq. This place sets a great standard, the service is verry friendly, the restraunt extremely well kept, the food is incredible, and overall has become my new go to when I'm in the area. Thank you for the great meal. Btw it was a date and we got the unlimited option.

Puzukan Tan is advertised as grilling on charcoal. We were provided with a propane or gas grill. I asked where the charcoal was located and our server said “it is there under the grate.” When the grate was exchanged for a new clean one after a few meats were cooked, we looked and saw zero charcoal. Maybe our server forgot to put any in, maybe they ran out that day, who knows. Not sure what’s going on, but the taste was definitely not of charcoal.

The meats itself were fine, similar to any other Korean Barbeque in the area. The egg and soup were actually above average as tasty and not salty. The banchan was quite good as well.

The server, other than insisting he was providing charcoal, was diligent and timely.

Would mildly recommend for a non-charcoal meal but I am disappointed by the false advertising. I’ve had charcoal grilled meats at other Korean Barbeques in Korea and Hawaii, and this had zero charcoal taste or smell.

Sounds not Korean but this is a great kbbq spot with other entrees besides kbbq. Food is flavored well and not overly sweet. Great local spot outside Annandale and Centreville. Thank you Victoria

Kay was our server!!!

Great Korean BBQ Experience!

I recently had the most incredible Korean BBQ meal, and I can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever had—from the high-quality meats to the outstanding service.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. The meat was premium, perfectly marbled, and so flavorful. Every bite was a delight, especially when cooked just right—crispy on the edges, tender and juicy.

But what really made this experience unforgettable was our waiter. He was amazing!! Not only did he expertly grill each cut of meat for us, but he also took the time to explain what made each one special and recommended the best ways to enjoy them. He was so attentive, making sure our drinks were always refilled and that we had everything we needed. His enthusiasm and knowledge made the meal even more enjoyable.

The atmosphere was nice, the service was top-tier, and the food was delicious! (We got the Premium Signature AYCE)

Philly needs to do better and have this quality 😭

This was the best kbbq I’ve ever had. The giant rib from the AYCE menu was to die for, it was so juicy and tender. All of the meat was super fresh and delicious. Our server was very friendly and informative. 10/10 recommend.

Pretty good - better than a lot of places in the area. The kalbi was the best meat out of the different options I tried.

I used to love this place.

Over the past year, I’ve probably come here at least five times — it used to be one of my favorite Korean BBQ spots in town. But my recent visit was honestly shocking. The quality has gone way downhill, and I left feeling more frustrated than full.

We were told there was a one-hour time limit, which was already tight, but then a server came over to check if we were done eating — before the hour was even up. It felt like we were being rushed out.

The cold noodles didn’t even have broth, just a pile of dry noodles in a metal bowl. The server burned the meat on the grill and didn’t bother changing the pan, so the next few rounds tasted bitter and charred. When we asked to pack up our leftovers, they took away the steamed egg (which we barely touched) without asking and never brought it back. On top of that, they gave us takeout containers but no plastic bag, so we had to carry everything in our hands.

The final straw? The beef soup had a weird, gamey smell. Not appetizing at all.

I really hate writing bad reviews, especially for a place I used to like so much. But this experience was disappointing on so many levels — food, service, and hospitality. I hope they seriously rethink how they’re running things, because right now, it’s just not worth it.
