This is a quiet coffee shop, concealed in a corner of a street lined with other shops. There are so many arrays of house plants, lots of seating and even plenty of sunlight to make it feel cozy but also social at the same time. The food and coffee were pretty flavorful. We got an iced coffee and the vanilla cardamom iced latte with a cherry chocolate scone and spanakopita. If ever you’re free on a weekend-run, don’t walk to Rare Bird!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this coffee shop. The large windows let in lots of natural light and made it easy to people-watch the busy street outside, while the inside stayed calm and quiet. Everyone seemed to be reading or working—no loud conversations—which made it a peaceful spot to focus. I also loved the touch of greenery with the plants around the space. As for the coffee, I ordered a vanilla latte. It was fine—not bad by any means, just not a standout for me....
