Saigon Bakery & Deli Reviews
Stopped in on a whim to pick up a few extras for dinner and wasn’t disappointed! Everyone inside was so sweet and patiently answered all my questions as my knowledge of Vietnamese foods is limited. I think I’ve gotten the names right, please excuse me if they’re not!
I loved the Banh it tran or the sticky rice dumplings filled with a minced pork mixture. The outside is a delightfully fresh and soft mochi-like texture packed with an equally smooth textured...read full review
Best banh mi I’ve found in NOVA. Better than DC Banh Mi, Ba Le, and what used to be my favorite Banh Mi So 1. I ended up here because So 1 was closed. Ive had the grilled pork but I am addicted to the cold cuts with no pate. The bread is amazing and the pickled vegetables are delicious. The lady who makes the banh mis is so fast and gets it perfect all the time. Get their pork egg rolls/lumpia - fabulous. Saigon Bakery & Deli is a Vietnamese establishment located in the Eden Center, known for its cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere. The star of the menu is the Banh Mi, praised for its great value at $7, with options like shredded pork and tofu being fresh, large in size, and delicious. The bakery items, such as the pate chaud, receive mixed reviews, with the chicken flavor being more favored for its juiciness and flavor. The pork pate chaud is also enjoyed, although it's noted for having less flavor. The workers are incredibly kind, and the food is amazing, offering a wide variety of options for such a small store. Vegetarian options like Banh Mi, bao, and desserts are available, and the tofu Banh Mi can be made vegan by requesting "no mayo." Service is efficient and friendly, making it a pleasant stop while exploring the Eden Center.
