I can’t say enough great things about this tiny family owned and run business, first we were greeted with a huge smile, seated immediately and watered within a min, this from our 60/70 year old server. Dieu Huong Vegetarian Restaurant is a hidden gem located in a shopping complex. This vegan-friendly eatery offers a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes, all made with love and care. The menu, which has both English and Vietnamese options, features tasty and large portions of dishes like broken rice with shredded tofu, spicy veg noodle soup, and lotus root salad. The staff, led by a friendly and welcoming owner, provide excellent service, often offering complimentary tea and help with to-go orders. The restaurant is well-known for its delicious food and great customer service. They make their own vegetable broth, which tastes especially good in dishes like bun rieu chay tomato soup. Inside, customers can enjoy sampling a few flavorful dishes immediately, with many packed with rich flavors and interesting textures. The tofu and seitan soak up sauces and seasonings well, creating a burst of flavor in every bite. Dieu Huong is especially recommended during the winter months when a warm, spicy noodle soup is just what’s needed. The restaurant also offers pre-selected meal combinations and soup/noodle dishes for a more curated experience. Despite its small size, it is a must-visit for vegan food lovers seeking tasty, allium-free options that do not include onion or garlic, though some sauces and toppings may contain other alliums like leeks. Overall, Dieu Huong provides high-quality Vietnamese vegetarian dishes in a friendly atmosphere, making it a favorite for those looking for flavorful, healthy meals. The newly renovated interior adds a nice touch, making the experience even better.
