The Casual Pint of Falls Church

I have driven past the casual pint hundreds of times and finally decided to give it a chance a few weeks ago. The disappointment I felt is something that will stay with me. The previous reviews you see about extremely slow service? They are all spot on. There is only 1 person working at a time. That means this 1 person is acting as bar tender, food runner, order taker, cashier, and clean up crew. Not only is it obvious that they need help but it's also obvious the owner doesn't seem to care.

So while yes, they have a bunch of different beers that look pretty good. The prices for their small amount of food is outrageous for what you get. The hummus platter is very small and extremely overpriced (4 frozen tiny pita bites and store bought hummus), their chicken tenders are just frozen tysons nuggets, and all of this comes with a 30+ minute wait

Do yourself (and your wallet) a favor and skip the casual pint and go to any of the other fantastic bars and restaurants that Falls Church has to offer

If you go to the casual pint, you will be disappointed

Nice place. Wide selection of good beer. Tasty wings. Pizza pretzel was not a favorite.

Stopped in for lunch and a beer. Great place for beer and wine and I really appreciate that have some dark beers on the menu. I do NOT recommend their burgers. While the bun and tomato and lettuce and such were fresh and as expected, our burgers were like a grey mystery meat with a strange look and texture — not even sure thats real meat. No flavor either.

This place has such an amazing atmosphere. The moment you walk in, you feel relaxed and welcomed. The wooden bar setup and the huge selection of taps give it a really authentic and cozy vibe. Everything looks clean, organized, and thoughtfully designed. It’s the kind of spot where you can sit down, take your time, and truly enjoy the experience. I would definitely come back again.

Great craft brewery bar with lots of options on tap. They also have many options to take home, and you can mix and match a 6 pack. So glad my hotel was right next door.

Great Christmas Trivia night! It was packed!
Love the selection of beers and the staff is always nice. Great local spot. Some folks were playing cornhole outside, so that's there if it's your thing.

Drank beer at an establishment that serves alcohol. I did not drive home and my vehicle was towed by the next morning when I returned. Not great for business. If you plan to have more than a couple I would go somewhere else.

A truly amazing establishment and joint to spend the evening and simply enjoy. They have an great selection and a very large variety. But that's not the best part.... That can be overwhelming.... Don't try to decide what you want to order... Just simply tell Robert your likes or dislikes in as few or as many words as you want and he WI get you exactly what you want to order. A true mastery and hospitality that is very rare to come by.

P. S. Owners - the tips don't do justice to Robert a nice Christmas present should be in order on Santa's (your) checklist 😁

Nice beer selection and tasty food. BUT.... Service is poor at best. Sitting at the bar, waited really 10 min simply to be acknowledged, despite the bartenders doing nothing but walking around. Wanting another beer the bartender kept telling me to hang on because she needed to take care of the people ordering beers at the register. There was always a line, so all of us at the bar just got ignored.
The employees walk around lazily and don't seem to care about customer service in the least bit.
I won't be back. No need to beg a place to take my money.

Great neighborhood pub, a large variety of beers ranging from lagers to IPA's, a few ciders and also serves wine. Activities on different nights, tonight (Tuesday)was trivia night. Infdor and outdoor tables. A stack of games to choose from to play at your table. Large (free) parking garage next to smaller lot in front. Pub food includes burgers, wraps, flatbreads and a few appetizers.

We had a nice experience here and will be coming back. Their selection of beer is better than nearly any other place in the area; food menu is solid; food is great; service is friendly and helpful.

The service was completely mediocre, barley put any effort into greeting customers with kindness especially the bartender. And the food wasn’t even allat.

Great local spot with a wide variety of beers. Its a very relaxed atmosphere with some tvs showing sporting events. It was a perfect spot for a Saturday afternoon to watch college football.
