Had an amazing experience at this mom and pop restaurant. The service and vibe was akin to being at your asian grabdmother's house. Their specialty here is their broken rice platters. I had never tried it before and it was absolutely delicious! The meats had a bit of sweetness which paired amazing with the umami of the fish sauce on our rice. The ban bo hue was also delicious it was full of flavor and the meats in the soup were delicious. Overall a fun experience my best recommendation is to come here with an open mind particularly if you are new to Vietnamese food.

The only Com Tam Thit Nuong I've had that's better than this is my own Mom's cooking. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and now I take my own kids here. You absolutely can't beat the grilled meats with the runny egg on top ? sooooo good!

Best place to get your Vietnamese rice dish! Service was quick for carryout. Go here if you just want a rice dish that reminds you of home cooked meal but with great sides!

I've had my fair share of Vietnamese food growing up and this place is the real deal. The place is tucked away in one of the mini mall segments of Eden Center. The place is cozy and you can tell it's a mom and pop type of restaurant. The food is very authentic and you're guaranteed a flavorful dish no matter what you order! I got the bún bò huế (spicy noodle soup) and a cơm tấm bì sườn chả trứng (rice plate with shredded pork/grilled pork/egg). The meat was so flavorful in the bún and there was a nice kick to the broth. I usually order this dish and skip the broth but the one here was so good that I managed to clean the bowl. Meanwhile, the rice plate was PACKED and the meats paired nicely with the broken rice. Add some of their fish sauce to that and it was chef's kiss. There was so much shredded pork leftover that we ordered extra rice and took it home for basically an additional meal in itself.Paid $40 after tax and tip which I think is reasonable considering the portions were huge. Don't expect the service to be at your beck and call. You'll have to flag someone down from the back for help. However, that's typically how traditional Viet restaurants are and by the time they do come help you out, they're super friendly and give you mom vibes. Looking forward to coming back and trying their other dishes!

The com tam here is so so good! The taste absolutely authentic. It was so underrated since the store was inside. Please come check it out. Their tra da (iced tea) is so good too!

Cozy Vibes, Great Grub"Thanh Truc in Eden Center is a total hidden gem. The place might be small but it's packed with character and a family-friendly feel. Their Vietnamese Broken Rice? Best in Northern Virginia, hands down. It's like a trip to Vietnam without leaving the neighborhood. Good food and service overall. Totally love it and can't recommend it enough!

My dads been taking me here since I was a kid for as long as I can remember. I came back and it's exactly how I remembered it. The value is good, everything tastes really good. This is my new favorite spot for Bun Bo hue. The broth is so good and it's got all the regular fixings. The meats are tender. The com tam is solid. The pork was a little dry but the egg was perfectly runny with crispy edges. I definitely recommend coming here and supporting this small ma and pop restaurant
