“Dinner with friends last night.. first timers. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Friendly service, fast service, prices affordable! Our 4- top table ordered clam strips, onion petals, ribeyes, crab cakes and sautéed shrimp and the salad bar! Homemade croutons - YUM! “The salad bar is full of fresh bright vegetables and nice unexpected additions, like sliced beets, broccoli, chickpeas, and fresh fruit. There are also dried fruit and nut toppers on the dressing bar, which I found thoughtful because I hate when small sprinkley ingredients slip into the larger salad bar and give you a soggy salad surprise.
The hot bar changes daily and the grab-and-go coolers are full of fresh tasty sandwiches and salads so there's something for everyone on every day.
Picky eaters rejoice, you take your to-go to the counter and it's weighed, not judged! If you want a box of croutons and pepperoni drizzled in honey mustard sauce, go for it! Love this place.”

“True hole in the wall bar and grill in a one stop light town. Creaky wood floors, peeling paint, knick knacks on the shelves, this place has character. Food is a home run... why? Because they take everything an extra step. Example: grilled chicken at every other joint- rubbery frozen chicken breast on boring bun, soft lettuce, mushy tomato. Here: grilled pulled chicken, virginia ham, cheese, spicy mustard/ mayo on a buttered grilled Texas toast... bang ... now that's a party in your mouth. Try the other sandwich concoctions... every one is a winner. Nice, honest folks that work here. You won't be disappointed. Instead of spending your hard earned lunch money at some chain restaurant joint... come spend it at a legit mom and pop establishment. Side note: they're so honest, the name is even legit.... it is actually on the Corner.”

“We always got Egg Fu Yung. It was flavorful and enough to take home. We usually ate inside.
On a to go order, it was ready when I got there and equally tasty.
On credit card transactions there is a 3% surcharge, so best to pay cash, even if you have to stop at an ATM.
Prices are reasonable for good quality food and ample servings.
There is another Chinese place in town - not nearly as good.
I highly recommend Hunan Village to satisfy your cravings for good Chinese food.”
