“Dinner with friends last night.. first timers. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Friendly service, fast service, prices affordable! Our 4- top table ordered clam strips, onion petals, ribeyes, crab cakes and sautéed shrimp and the salad bar! Homemade croutons - YUM! Desserts- coconut cake, lemon blueberry pie and an orange cream cake- y’all GO! We will def make this a regular dinner option. Thank you The Oaks!”

“True hole in the wall bar and grill in a one stop light town. Creaky wood floors, peeling paint, knick knacks on the shelves, this place has character. Food is a home run... why? Because they take everything an extra step. Example: grilled chicken at every other joint- rubbery frozen chicken breast on boring bun, soft lettuce, mushy tomato. Here: grilled pulled chicken, virginia ham, cheese, spicy mustard/ mayo on a buttered grilled Texas toast... bang ... now that's a party in your mouth. Try the other sandwich concoctions... every one is a winner. Nice, honest folks that work here. You won't be disappointed. Instead of spending your hard earned lunch money at some chain restaurant joint... come spend it at a legit mom and pop establishment. Side note: they're so honest, the name is even legit.... it is actually on the Corner.”

“STB has the best smash burger I have ever eaten. Everything is consistently hot and toppings are fresh. Our grandson loves the hot dogs and both styles of lobster rolls are delicious. Friendly service too. Lobster rolls make me feel like I’m on vacation. You should stop in and give them a try. You won’t be disappointed. Amy Denney Urbanna”

“Wow! Staff is excellent! Food was really excellent!! We got a second bowl of chips and dips and not even 5 minutes later our food was out. I had Pollo Jalisco. You have already seen what I said about the food, excellent! Flan was the best I’ve ever had! I never got below a half cup of sweet tea. The staff was right there before we needed to even ask for anything. All told we were done eating chips, drinks, and our entrees in 35 minutes. So we decided to get dessert. Still under an hour for a family of 4 and the price was also good for food and dessert in these times! They will be getting more business from us!”

“My family and I tried this gem today, and we were honestly blown away. I’m a restaurant industry veteran, and I can say with confidence: this is easily some of the best food in Urbanna. ​I had the 'Mother Cluckin' chicken sandwich (incredible flavor!), my husband loved his BBQ, and the tenders were a hit with our daughter. A huge shoutout to our waiter—he actually hand-made our lemonade, which was a refreshing touch you just don’t see elsewhere. We couldn't resist grabbing some strawberry ice cream, fresh cinnamon raisin bread, and a few tinctures from their shop up front. ​Everything was top-notch. My only heartbreak? We left our to-go box on the table! We’ll definitely be back for a round two.”

“My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Hope & Glory! The accommodations were beautiful and charming. We especially loved the flowers in the garden. The Inn was quiet and peaceful. The pool was perfect. We were walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff is incredible and we could tell they put a lot of heart into making sure their guests have a welcoming and special stay. They make you feel right at home. We will spread the word and sure hope to be back again! Thank you!!”

“Outstanding. We are on vacation and the hubby found this restaurant when he was searching Google!! Ribeye with parm shrimp AMAZING!! Butterbeans reminded us of mommas cooking!! Hubby had the crab cakes, scallops, shrimps and oysters with the butterbeans and coleslaw! Definitely worth the price!!! Remember, you get what you pay for!! Someone in that kitchen knows how to cook!! We will be back, have to try the rest of the menu!!”

“Lovely lunch on the porch, our first time dining at The Office Bistro but definitely will not be our last. Katelyn was a terrific server - pleasant, helpful, efficient! We really enjoyed eating on the porch with fans overhead providing good cooling. So many great options on the menu that it was hard to decide! All meals were served as ordered and delicious. We found the cajun dill chicken sandwich and country cobb salad to be excellent. Highly recommend the strawberry refresher...just perfect on a hot day.”

“Wonderful experience! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by all of the flavors, the wine, and the service. We started waking up our palettes with the Bao buns served with smoked maitake butter and the clams…so yummy (we could have picked it up and drank the whole thing of broth). We then shared a cup of the maitake mushroom soup, another amazing choice. As if we weren’t full on those flavors, we ordered our entrees. My husband had the bratwurst and I had the homemade lamb and gnocchi dish…wow! Our wine selection went great with all of the dishes. I had their wine selection of the day, a sparkling dry German wine with hints of raspberry and strawberry. We highly recommend Adrift for both the food and the service!”

“We come here about once per week and often times order the same thing! Crispy Chicken. We love it. The staff is super friendly. The food is great. Clean inside. Fast service. Super reasonable prices. I have ordered a lot on this menu and really like all of it. A personal favorite is the Moo Shu Pork! Bar seems fun too but not for me!”

Every single bite and sip was on point. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. The owner and staff are absolutely wonderful — warm, welcoming, and the kind of folks who make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. If you're in Urbanna and haven't been here yet, you're missing out. This gem is the heart of the town. Can't wait to come back!”

“We love Sandpiper restaurant. The atmosphere, menu and staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed dinner there on a super busy night. My husband ordered the rib eye with sautéed shrimp and the steak was cooked to the perfect ordered temperature and the price was wonderful for all he received (salad, steak, shirmp and asparagus, $55 ish). I ordered what was listed on the menu as the Sanpiper Jumbo Lump crabcakes. They were fine but definitely not jumbo lump. Backfin crabmeat at best. My mistake was only asking if the crabmeat was fresh and not specifically asking if it was indeed jumbo lump. The filler was flavored nicely. Will definitely eat here again but will just order differently.”
