The Pie Shoppe/The Pie Lady/Fincastle Cafe is a wonderful place that offers a fantastic dining experience. The pies are absolutely delicious, with the cherry pie made with sour cherries being a standout. The key lime is refreshing and delicious. The restaurant is conveniently located just a couple of blocks from the courthouse, making it a perfect stop for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Customers enjoyed a great weekend brunch on the rooftop, with great service and experience. They also tried the peanut butter pie and took a whole apple pie home. Some enjoyed a Club Wrap, while a friend had the spinach & artichoke Naan bread. The apple pie filling was very good, but the crust was disappointing, tough and gummy, preferring a crust that is light and flaky. The interior of the restaurant with original brick walls was loved and quaint.
