“What a gem of a place! - I was looking for "not-starbucks" on my drive to NC from Maryland. What amazingly wonderful and upbeat folks...serving with JOY, from the heart. The menu is massive and the vibe is local and sweet. They were not kidding when they said the iced tea is good. I'm a tea snob and wow, they nailed theirs. They make it with spring water and added tapioca pearls to make it fun! Stop in. Be prepared to smile. You will not be disappointed! AND!!! “One of those wonderful older mom and pop places that have survived decades of change. Obviously, for a good reason! The staff were so nice. The food was hot and good. I loved sitting at the bar with the swivel stools and a greasy spoon sign above the food window. “I am a regular customer at Lentini’s. Last night, I went with my wife and son. The restaurant was busy and obviously short staffed. One waitress was out sick and one long term waitress had left when she found another job. Service is ordinarily outstanding. Several people were frustrated last night, customers and obviously employees. Yet, I watched those folks grind it out. They hustled, were polite and apologetic, and in my mind did a great job under bad circumstances. I was in that business a long time. That is a stressful situation, and I think they did outstanding. A good business will look good when they are staffed by trained employees and everything is running smoothly. But you see how good a business really is when they face and conquer extreme circumstances and still treat the customers well. My worst experience there is the one that merits a 5 star review.Good job folks!”

“20231213 I was at Bojangles and spotted this restaurant on Google Maps. I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, the Wontons were pretty good, and is homemade. The shrimp and chicken Hibachi was pretty good, missing the Japanese Hibachi grilled flavor. Price is very reasonable for What I got. Big shrimp and lots of chicken and veggies.”

“One of our most frequently visited Subways. Great location only 10 mins from us. Always great service at this location. Food is always fresh and excellent. Cleanliness is always present. If you dine in, the tables could be wiped down a little better. Clean restrooms. Parking usually isn't a problem but it's a smaller lot with 10-12 parking spaces. Papa John's pizza located next door at this location also. Mojo Custom Sportswear Custom shirts next door to Papa John's if you need custom screen printing. “This Subway is located inside Sunset Market off Rt 220 heading away from Eagle Rock (or towards it depending on where you're headed). It's inside a small but quaint and well-kept gas station market with basic essentials and sundries like snacks and goodies for the surrounding community. This Subway when it opened many years ago, was a very welcome addition to the area because it provides an easy means of grabbing a snack on a weekend, late night dinner, or whatever for those who work and drive to Roanoke often. The staff inside are friendly, if not always the fastest, and they normally honor most of the Subway specials from the corporate office. Standard Subway station - it's not amazing - it's inside a gas station - but it's one of only a few commercial food options for miles and miles around the small town of Eagle Rock where most everything else has closed up over the last two decades.”

“No clue why this place does not have a 4.5 or higher rating. The service was courteous and fast. We have had terrible experiences at other locations. From dry biscuits to under seasoned chicken. This place delivered us a hot buttery biscuit with a perfectly spiced chicken filet with the crispiest edges. We also indulged in a picnic of their hashbrown. They were SO crispy and delicious. This was all delivered so fast and with a smile at 8:30ish in the morning and it made our day. Highly recommend stopping at this location on your next road trip”
