been awhile since our last dinner at chateau morrisette, but the last experience was way better than this one. i had the ribeye which was undercooked as well as the brocolli. the salmon was the only entree that was good(minus the undercoked vegetables). the brussel sprouts were overcooked and charred to the point where half of them were flaky pieces that just fell apart. i honeslty have never been so dissapointed in a meal in my life. sorry to say I will not be revisiting the restaurant at Chateau Morissette again.

Angela I believe her name is has been very helpful always. Last year she was wonderful when my daughter and I did taste testing for her birthday! Yesterday when I called and had questions about an upcoming reservation again she was so helpful! They all are so helpful and the lunch yesterday there was great! Thank you!! Maria French

Food was fantastic! Wait staff was excellent! We loved our table with a gorgeous view of the beautiful sunset! Well worth the wait for this restaurant to reopen. We are already planning our return.

The restaurant is ok, I would prob recommend going in the Daytime to at least take in the view. We signed up for the Valentine's special, a 5-course meal for two. I think I may not have fallen in love with the food because the VD special was preselected of foods I normally wouldn't order.. So it was ok... Overall, wine selection was fairly limited for a winery. So probably will not be making the hour drive each way again, anytime soon.

Everything was perfect. The food was excellent. The waitress was excellent. Thank you for a great Valentines dinner with my husband. We will be back. We have been buying your wines for years and now we have had the pleasure of enjoying your food. Your chef is the best.

Excellent place to have lunch in combination with wine tasting. I recommend doing the wine tasting and tour before eating. Then you know what wines you like and what pairs well with the food you order. Will definitely be back. What an unexpected treat!

My friend and I both had the stuffed chicken with the scalloped potatoes, and honestly, I think it was one of the best meals I have ever had! I will be going back on a regular basis. I am so happy the restaurant is open again with a truly remarkable chef. The ambiance, food, Chambourcin wine and gorgeous view made the afternoon a truly special birthday treat.

I haven't been to Chateau Morissette for over 20 years. We ended up here because Mickey g's was closed for anything other than take out. While it took them a while to seat us as we had requested an appointment half an hour after we arrived when we did get seated the atmosphere was cozy even given the food was quite nice. Pictured are the Duck Confit with fingerling potatoes and al dente green beans which I and my wife had, and the shrimp and grits, which mom had. Surprisingly, this cost the same as a 3 person meal at Red Lobster though ymmv. Expensive, but what isn't? My mom had a glass of house chardonnay, me tap water and my wife coke. We added dessert, not pictured, of chocolate cake, cheesecake and pound cake. All for about $135. The chef knows what he/ she is doing on the mains but was about average on the deserts.

Chateau Morrisette never disappoints! From the roasted Brussels sprouts appetizer to the chocolate ganache dessert, it was a wonderful dining experience. We celebrated a birthday, lingered over coffee, and greatly enjoyed the afternoon.

Our table was in the hallway - somewhat private, but a bit chilly. Food was excellent, except it did not come out too hot - pretty sure it had been sitting for a bit. Waitress was good - not over bearing, but sometimes too long between visits. Large amounts of good food - just wish it had been warmer. Will definitely be back.

While our server and ambiance were excellent, we found the food to be a great disappointment. The jus for the French-Dip sandwich was a largely tasteless, thick black liquid served in a bowl which was too small to allow for dipping. The lemon crème brulee was not creamy, lacked lemon flavor, was oddly grey with a consistency of, dare I say, spackling. We have eaten at the restaurant before and always enjoyed the food. Perhaps it was a bad day.

Everything was wonderful. Our waitress was great and fun. Her helper was sweet. We just loved her and him. The food was scrumptious. We complemented the chef. We have been waiting for the restaurant to open back up. I live in the area and always take friends and family to Chateau. It has been part of our lives for 30 years. Great experience!!!
