In general the food never leaves you disappointed. Our server was fantastic. BUT THEY SCREW YOU OVER WHEN IT COMES TO ALCOHOL!!!
Normally when you get a cocktail like an old fashioned made there is an upcharge of a few bucks. What they don't tell you is that it varies from bourbon to bourbon. My Bookers old fashioned was almost a $10 upcharge, where my friend's bullet rye old fashioned was 2.30 upcharge. They use the same bitters, sugar/simple syrup, orange for both. ITS CROOKED AS HELL. They don't tell the servers about that detail. They tell them its an upcharge but not that it fluctuates based on what bourbon you get.
That a 41.5% upcharge for the bookers and a 26.5% upcharge for bullet..... THATS A 15% DIFFERENCE!!!

Loved the decor of the place and atmosphere. Our waitress was nice but the food was midgrade. Our shrimp had hardly any seasoning on them and the melted butter had no flavor. I'm pretty sure it was margarine. My tenderloin was ok. It wasn't something I'd go back for and I must say I've had better at Texas Roadhouse. I totally would like to go back when it's less busy and give it another try. It could have just been a busy off night. Id love to go back and look at the cute decor as outside was full and we didn't get to enjoy that part of the restaurant.

It was our first time eating here, and it was a Sunday, and we hadn't realized it was more of a brunch menu. It wasn't what we had in mind, but we decided to give it a try. It was good, although I thought it was a bit pricey for breakfast, but my portion was generous. We'll return when we can try the regular menu. Overall, the atmosphere on the patio was pleasant, and the waitress was very friendly.

The food was over seasoned and awful. Sweet tea was great. Waitress was great too. Paid and left. Didn’t even eat half of my meal. My husband didn’t like his either and he got a steak. Food wasn’t even worth taking home. The environment is nice and the wait time wasn’t bad.
We ordered 4 entrees, 2 off the special menu. The steak was overcooked, we asked for medium. The crab cakes tasted okay, nothing special, just didn't have the meat that you expect at a place in Baltimore for blue crab. The two entree's off the regular menu were okay but not delicious. We were disappointed.

This is an old review but I went multiple times. Everything seems to be local as far as food but the staff and the atmosphere are awesome. Food can be hit or miss between amazing and good.

Although it was very cramped with seating our experience was pleasant. Our waitress was very friendly and so nice. We had the sampler with the grilled and fried shrimp, fried green tomatoes, and the burnt end pork belly. OMG all the food was so delicious.

Had a wonderful time. The food was great, the sweet tea was delicious, and the desserts were out of this world. I came from Rocky Mount to see Benjamin and Sam because I had worked for them years ago at Mariners Landing. But didn't get to see either one. Thanks Benjamin and Sam for a wonderful belated birthday brunch. Taylor our waitress was absolutely wonderful.
It's over stimulating, especially when busy. But the food is absolutely delicious. Favorites are the Waygu Burger, Icelandic Cod

Huge servings for very reasonable pricing! Everything was delicious, service was fast and friendly, and the outdoor seating was perfect. I hadn’t had a footlong hotdog since I was a kid and it was everything I could have wanted and more. :)

Have said many times we would not go back here due to several reasons, but, we went back & tried again because it's local. Saw a special on their board outside, this was at 5:30 on a Thur. Ordered the special, 10 oz steak & oysters. Server came back after ordering & said they were out of the special? Said they could do 12 oz instead of the 10, great, how much was the difference? Came back again & said $14 more? All the same, but 2 oz more of steak. Questioned again & owner / Mgr came over, not apologizing for the issue, but with immediate attitude. Understand there's an issue....So questioned again & said all the same as the special, but basically we're talking about 2 oz of steak? Again, instead of sorry, we'll go ahead & get you the 12 oz, it was we can do the 12 oz price & add the oysters as an appetizer? None of it made sense. Ended up paying too much for overpriced food, warm beer & attitude with not even a thanks for coming, while the owner / mgr looked right at us as we were leaving. Never, ever again. Maybe if they turn it back into Jessie's hot dogs. They were much nicer & food just as good...
My burger was okay, the steak others got was fatty, grisly and not great.
Food was overpriced, and when a pricing discrepancy on drinks was pointed out they bumped the price up. $10.50 for crappy margaritas is way too much.
