First time here and will definitely be going back. It was a packed house walking in, but found a table to sit at. Our server, Sarah, was very kind, patient and attentive. Knowledgeable about the bourbon selections and gave us great recommendations. She checked in on us in a timely fashion even though it looked to be just her running the busy floor. Passing through and had the opportunity to visit Gunny’s Tavern. Met the owner, Phay, and she is the definition of a true girl boss.
Really enjoyed her take on Mexican Street Corn (Elote for us Texans 🌽), the pretzel bites, and her mother’s homemade butter cake. The butter cake was absolutely amazing.
