I have been coming here since I was just a young child and I’m now in my 20’s. I had probably the worst experience this weekend at New London, which was unexpected. It appears the place has new management and staff. We ordered soda and soda was flat. Asked for unsweet tea and the server brought sweet. All 5 of our steaks were over cooked. It is really sad as this is a place my family always looked forward to going to, especially for special occasions.
This is your go to for a great steak and nice relaxing atmosphere. If you enjoy a nice salad bar, then this is also your place! Family owned and run and has been here in Lynchburg for as long as I can remember. It's a great place to celebrate a special occasion and has indoor seating as well as porch seating for the nice cool days and evenings.
Came here as a recommendation, so I had a bit of expectation before coming in. Salad bar was great. Wish the plate was a bit larger. Steak was cooked well and fairly priced. Not the best steak I have had but definitely rank higher up in my list. Atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy, rustic, country. I like the vibe.
