I have only had the sushi and it was freshly made and very good. My only recommendation would be to expand their beer offering to include draft craft beers brewed by area craft brewers.

Went to lunch today after surgery a few days ago and felt like I was so lacking food. You all went well and beyond to accommodate me and my needs. I can't thank you all enough. Been there tons of times and will still always come back. :)

I was a big fan of this restaurant and would advise my friends and colleagues to check it out. The food was good and the price was a great value. Something changed recently. Either they got a new chef, the regular one was off the last time I visited, or something else, but we stopped in last weekend and the food was horrible. We order 3 entrees and appetizers. I ordered the filet and chicken and they brought me filet and shrimp. To their credit, when I alerted them of the mistake they brought me the chicken on the side. The filet was literally the worst steak I have ever tried to eat from a restaurant. Full of gristle and tasteless. Had the texture of being boiled or microwaved. I didn't eat the shrimp since I am not a fan of shrimp and didn't order it. The chicken was the only thing ordered that was edible out of everything. Vegetables that came with the filet were soggy and flavorless. My wife ordered a sushi roll that should could only eat one piece of. She told me it didn't contain any of the main ingredient a spider roll was described to have on the menu. Our daughter ordered udon with shrimp tempura, which was not correct when brought to our table. We also order the octopus balls and shumai for appetizers. The octopus pieces in the balls were so hard that it was like trying to chew a chicken gizzard. The part of our meal that made us come to the conclusion that something was truly wrong behind the scenes was the shumai. I don't know what they were thinking serving this. The shumai appeared to have been microwaved from frozen. The appearance was that it looked like raw warm dough and the pieces were all stuck together. Then they poured this weird sauce over it. Aside from the sauce, there appeared to be no seasoning on it or in it whatsoever. Just tasted like raw chewy dough covered in sauce. I honestly have never so quickly gone from being a fan of a restaurant to deciding I would never go there again. The entire meal for my wife and I was so bad that we barely ate any of the dishes and still felt slightly nauseous after we left the restaurant, with the idea that if everything was so off with all aspects of our meals, then was it even prepared in a safe manner? I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because at least the food is cheap and we didn't waste a ton of money on it. I really hope that this last time we went was just an anomaly (maybe the regular chef was sick and the person who filled in was not an experienced cook), but we won't know because we won't take a chance on this place again.

This is the place you want to go for casual dining and simple, delicious food.
We came here during a weekend trip and I wish I was able to eat more. The location is easy to get to and has parking, first plus. Then it's a really chill and casual vibe inside, I felt welcomed and comfortable in the space, second plus. The food selection and taste of it was amazing! We ordered 5 different dishes, plus a peach green tea and honeydew Boba. Absolutely worth it! The Boba was 10× better than expected, plus they had almond milk available for an uncharge!
Overall, I cannot wait to visit this area of VA again just so that I can come get some more delicious eats!

Good food but don’t order to go if you are in a time crunch. Very slow on to go orders.

Good food, decent amount of menu options and not too expensive.

Parking: Parking lot is shared with LaCarrettas so at times it can be difficult to find an open spot

I didn’t know whether to give the waiter staff and management five star or a one star. One for balls for sure and then possibly five for balls. They actually had us clean up our plate and our table before we left and when I asked if I was going to get some of the tip, he did not seem amused. So we went there for our 16-year-old daughter’s birthday dinner. There was a group of five of us and we had spent probably about 150 $160. We asked about the free scoop of ice cream if it’s your birthday and they wanted to see an ID for our daughter. We said she doesn’t have one yet so they refused to give us the free $1.50 scoop of ice cream on top of the $150 bill . The Waiter was about 15 and the “Manager” was about 20. That just does not seem like good business management to me. Nothing like calling mom and dad a liar in front of a full restaurant and your kids. All in all I would go back again and probably enjoy the food but my expectations of going in the first time were a lot higher so I was really let down. This is nothing but a Run of the Mill Chinese restaurant in a strip mall.

Food was very good and more than enough to take home for a 2nd meal. The wait staff was friendly and over the top efficient.

I love coming here! The manager clearly puts his all into running the place and I love the chicken Katsu Ramen. It's always clean and I love the decor.
