“Atmosphere was depressing and service was average. Just buying some sandwhiches.The price was more than I expected I ordered 3 sandwhiches and a juice and it came out to 45$. Not insane considering prices these days but for how dumpy the place is I was hoping to walk out paying 35$ tops.That said, the King Street sandwich was fantastic. The Cali club was average but healthy portions. The food was ready when I arrived in 15 minutes and was still warm.I’d come back again for the king street sandwhich (pictured below) but otherwise not really worth the price IMO.If these came out to 10$ a piece with tax, this place would be outstanding.Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly. “Yum!! Stopped in Friday afternoon and got the Korean Fried Chicken bowl with the garlic sauce and rice and it was delicious! Even the coleslaw it came with was good (and I'm not someone who usually likes coleslaw). Chicken was tender and flavorful while the rice was decent, really enjoyed the sauce that seeped into the rice from the chicken. The coleslaw is a mayo base and almost had a sweetness to it too. Service was good and speedy. You order at the counter and you have to watch the number ticker at the front for your number as they don't really call out your number. There are tables inside as well as outside and the overall establishment was clean.“

“We frequent McAlister's quite often. The first time I ever had it was in Texas and I was happy to introduce it to my wife. So when we saw them put one in our area we were excited. We've had nothing but great customer service at this location and really appreciate everything they do and all the people that prepare the food. Thank you“

“Exactly the vibes you get from a typical Vietnamese bakery/takeout place. I love it. And these Banh Mi are probably the best in the DMV. Not only best, but most affordable with more generous than other places with their fillings like meat and veggies. I can't stress enough how often I crave their stuff and I'm Vietnamese who grew up eating these, so you'd think I'd be tired of it by now.Vegetarian options: Tofu and Veggie Banh Mi options. “A very good Subway location. The fixings are consistently fresh and the sandwiches well prepared. Sometimes they appear to be out of select items, like cheeses. But, on the whole this is a great location that we return to. I've been using the iPhone Subway app to order online. Sandwiches are ready when I arrive. I would probably be easier to substitute items out of stock with an in-person order, but for now I'll be using the phone app for its convenience.“

“Just amazing and outstanding service the fact I don’t eat pork. To take apart and clean wipe clean the knife. Not many will do it and the ones who do get upset. “Ok, so it was a little pricey. Regular sized (9 inch) bacon cheese steak. Regular combo came with a standard size fry and drink. 19 bucks including a 10 percent tip. Took a little while, but I tell you, when they brought my sub out, it was probably the most visually appealing sandwich I've ever bought. It looked even better than the advertising picture. In retrospect, I should have took a pic myself to share, but I was hungry, so, you know. And it tasted nearly as good as it looked. The bread was awesome and the toppings were just thick enough that some fell off on the tray with every bite. And I think they actually fry their bacon unlike Subway, it was crispy. The fries were pretty basic, but they have Cajun style, which I didn't see when I ordered but I'd imagine they'd be pretty good. And the staff were pretty good. They were cutting up with each other, not enough to be obnoxious or unprofessional, but it seemed they were having fun. In conclusion, if youre the kind of person who doesn't flip out over spending 20 bucks for a sandwich, I say go for it.Vegetarian options: They'd probably give you a sub with just vegetables, but it's not their thing, only a few vegetable options.“

“Yall. I came in here on a rainy day in a particularly bummed mood about life in general. My kids and I looked homeless as we’ve been bed bound the last few days because of health concerns. Andre, Whitney j, ta'livia and Jenny legitimately made me cry in this car. They made my family the best sandwiches, asked me every step of the way was my sandwich being prepared the way I liked. Treated me and my homeless looking kids with the best customer service I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY 37 years of life. I don’t make it a habit to have me or my kids hug “strangers” but these folk are now family. My son has autism and won’t eat much, but he’ll eat a sub from Jersey mikes. I can tell you one thing, I’ll never visit another Jersey Mikes as long as these employees are at this one. I cannot say enough good things. I know this is a franchise, and I just want to say kudos to the owner for handpicking such a lovely staff. They made us great food, were extremely kind and they even make us laugh. God bless them“

“Very well run Subway. Yes these are on every street corner it seems. If memory serves me correctly, there are more of these than McDonald's locations. That's quite an accomplishment. Not all Subways are the same, due to franchisees and standards. They aren't alone in this, as other chains have the same issue. Yet this one is about as good as it can get. Every time visited, it's nice being acknowledged quickly. So is the cleanliness. This is sterling, and also the organization of chips, drink cups, and other essentials is military like. For franchise owners not "cutting the mustard," you'll want to see this. Meats and vegetables are the proper temperatures, along with being extraordinarily fresh. Yes the menu is the same, but inside along with attention to detail on sandwiches, this is where the benchmark is. Great for quick meals.“

“I ordered my favorite soup, one cup of cappuccino and a blueberry scone. The scone wasn't available, and at the pick-up area, they said the steam-machine doesn't work - no coffee. That was frustrating, I asked for a refund. The manager completed my refund, offered fresh coffee, and presented a bag of small scones. That was very nice and my mood became better. ?“

Annandale is full of good restaurants but it's very heavily Asian cuisine (which I love) but I'm so tired of all the Korean fried chicken options. Sometimes I want a healthier option! “Subway artists. That used to be the slogan or what it was to the workers here. Kat is a true representation of doing the best she can. Just look at how this sandwich was put together. Really enjoyed my American Club Deluxe with 50% more meat! I’d definitely stop by here specifically for Kat to make the masterpiece. Also, the entire Subway seems newer. Very clean.“

“Running errands and turned off 395 to make some phone calls. Pulled in to the parking lot and decided to try JJ's vice the Subway nearby. Glad I did. This was during COVID-19 era, so I ordered my sandwich, went out side to make some calls and 5-7 minutes later my Pannini was done. I believe I had the roast beef w/ bacon, but whatever it was - it was cooked just right and the veggies didn't overbear the sandwichs as is often the case. “Very Clean Subway. Went in today and Jose assisted me. He handled the subway sandwich generously. The food was fresh and organized. He was very professional he asked if I wanted to purchase chips or other items. The only issue is parking in front but they do have parking available in the back. I strongly suggest this Subway verses other in my area.“

“I have a ton of respect for first responders, and do like giving back to firefighters as they put their lives on the line for us. The subs are good, but too small for the price to pay, which is why I do not come here as often. Medium size looks kind of like a kids meal.“
