My fiance and I went for the first time a few weeks ago and we were not disappointed! The food is absolutely AMAZING! You can taste the love and passion that goes into their food and the catfish is the BEST! Service was also amazing and very welcoming! I highly recommend you will not be disappointed!
Maybe this is a premature review as we only purchased a sweet potato pie just before closing, but the smell in the air when I got out of my car in the parking lot immediately told me there's way more than fresh, homemade deserts in this best-kept-secret in my hometown of Franklin, VA. Pie was great, but I am already planning my return to try the other fare next time I'm back in the home country. Shugga's just expedited that return!
This is hands down the best place in Franklin to have a well seasoned meal. I came in town for 4 days and eat here 3 out of 4 days. Only reason it was 3 was because I did not know about it on my 1st night. All around, from the hospitality to the taste of the food; I was very pleased and will come back again and again when coming through town! Thanks again for the hospitality.
