Got the toasted coconut cookies and cream which was excellent. Husband got the Butter Walnut. All excellent and creamy. The staff were helpful and courteous. Not much to say about atmosphere because we walked. Well worth a stop.

After enjoying a slice of pizza at Benny's... we had a craving for ice cream. My boyfriend has never been to Abners, so we went there. The BUTTER WALNUT ice cream was intoxicating. They had a lot of options that we taste tested and ultimately decided that was the one we were feeling.

Abner B has some of the best ice cream! You will always find chocolate and vanilla there, but then the other flavors change depending on what's fresh. If you want wonderful, tasty, freshly made ice cream, you have come to the right place. Their sign read “Open”. The store hours listed that they are open until 8pm. I wasn’t let in at 6:50 because I was told they were closed. I sat in my car for a while and several other potential customers were turned away as well. I don’t understand why they closed early it just raining outside. Was business slow? Just turn the sign around next time, I wouldn’t have bothered to get out of the car.

Nice local ice cream shop that usually has a long line....right on Caroline St in Old town Fredericksburg. The menu has many choices of sizes, types, toppings, etc...I tried their raspberry watermelon sorbet but it was a bit weak for me, so I decided to get one of my favorites, the Mint Chocolate Chip on a sugar cone.Creamy, delicious, decadent....Lots of high school kids working in here.

Simply Divine: A Delightful Ice Cream Experience!I recently had the pleasure of trying this ice cream, and it was absolutely delightful! The flavors were incredible, with a perfect balance of richness and creaminess. The texture was smooth and velvety, melting in my mouth with every bite. I tried the orange marmalade and my daughter had a chocolate milkshake. (Ice cream pictured) The staff provided exceptional customer service, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this ice cream is simply divine and highly recommended for any ice cream lover!
