I went alone and had a late breakfast. Server was awesome and food was great. I did get 2 lunch entrees to go for me and my housemate for dinner tonight, thats why the bill was higher. My server gave me a great tip on the huge pancake, (which isn't their largest, plate size is how she described it), ate most of it, brought the rest of my breakfast home for tomorrow. Will return sooner than later. Had been years since I was here.
We stopped here because we were at Fredericksburg National battlefield monuments, my wife had hash browns, grits biscuit and eggs, I had chicken fried steak and homemade batter fried onion rings. Everything was homemade. Everything was very good. The service was good. I would say if you're in Fredericksburg the prices were awesome. You should come here.
If you're looking for a local hole in the wall that does a yummy breakfast and great lunch food this is it. I got a pancake bigger then a dinner plate and the price was good. They have excellent service. I feel like everything they served was made from scratch because it felt like getting home cooking from someone who really knew how to cook. So I don't want everyone to know about this but I definitely found my new favorite breakfast spot in Fredericksburg.
