Amongst all the others that work here too đ This establishment is one of those places where ya can go and raise your glass and enjoy the true vide of a well owned and cared for root based business. Bearded Monkey đ” offers great entertainment options to keep your brain occupied during your visit or you can eat some of the best food I've ever eaten in the FXB area. Absolutely unacceptable management of food and drink timeliness. Currently pending fraud charges as they duplicated three different bills on two separate cards. Will never return I recommend anywhere else locally but this establishment.

This place is horrible. As far as I can tell, there are only two people working there. One is behind the bar and the other is serving food.
For starters, having to wait 30 minutes to even order food is ridiculous, especially when there are only around 20 to 25 people in the place.
Second, the drinks are disgusting. They are 90% booze and 10% mixer. I donât know whether the bartenders just donât know how to make a decent drink or whether they think they are doing me a favor. Furthermore, the place is losing a lot of money serving drinks like this.
The food â just OK.
This place just had 17 health code violations.

Bartender slow and innatentive(possibly heavily medicated)there's no way its going to get better with the current staff. We sat at the bar with empty drinks for 30 min on a slow day.one waitress was just sipping soda talking to people from jays that came in ,only thing I saw her do was bag one or two to go orders in an hour we were there. They used to have real beef patties for the burger cooked to order now it's a frozen thin patties and no spear pickle on the side.def needs new younger energetic bartenders. This was the last chance.

Rude bartender just basically ignored me so finally I asked about my takeout food that I was here to pick up She said okay I'll be right back Never came back. Chicken quesadilla was awful tasted burnt and greasy greasy. Cheesecake was good but no fruit on it. Awful service

We just had a Christmas gathering at the Bearded Monkey and the service from the bar and Megan was amazing!! We had a really large group and she was always there for food and drink orders whenever we needed her! Great experience and service all around.

Went there lastnight , and was very disappointed due to the fact that the waitress was rude and not interested, had a face on her seemed to not care no smile just a straight up mad looking face the whole time I donât think she likes her job very much . But ontop of having a waitress that wasnât the best company to be around they automatically charge a 25% gratuity on the bill and that we were not aware of , so that is illegal to not inform customers that they automatically take out gratuity, and due to the fact the service from her was shitty , definitely didnât deserve a 25% tip , so thatâs horrible business ,!! Food was good besides the fact that a friend of mine was there , that ordered a fish platter not appetizer and only came with 1 fish so we asked about that and they said instead of two fish they gave us 1 big one which is not what we ordered, ontop of it being $16 and the appetizer of it was $12 and that one only came with one fish so technically we shouldâve been charged the 12$ since it was only 1 fish , the way they donât inform you about the gratuity added to the bill before you place your order and eat is not right , this place has so much potential if they werenât rip offs !!

The Bearded Monkey is a decent venue to go watch your favorite sports team or sporting event with plenty of tvs sprawling every wall. When I visited, they had every NFL game on and a couple of duplicates at different angles. The place was clean and well kept. The bathrooms also were pretty clean and stocked well. The bar itself is pretty huge, spanning the entire legnth of the back wall, so plenty of room for the solo crowd. They do have a stage for bands to play for alternate entertainment.
The staff was very friendly, though I think they were a person short the day we visited, but service was still very good. The menu is pretty standard bar fare with a good variety of options to choose from priced reasonably well with generous portions.
For being a venue next to a hotel, it has a catchy name with good service and above average food on par with most sit-down restaurants for a reasonable price. Whether for a lunch bite or to cheer on your team, the Bearded Monkey is choice you should consider.
