We were downtown Fredericksburg on a Saturday afternoon and stopped in for an appetizer and drink. There may have been 10/12 customers total. We sat at one of the side walk tables to enjoy the weather. We had the pretzel, sausage, & cheese appetizer and cocktails. Our food and service was good.
I LOVE Capital Ale House! I have been coming here for years. I live an hour away and dream of the perogies. I was so happy to see they have a variety now and a sampler to try them all. I was in heaven with that and my wine that the bartender was heavy handed on! The ale house burger and fries were delicious with the spicy ketchup. Our table then decided to share the brownie rockslide dessert. We were STUFFED. Got a couple extra drinks and ended the night throwing some darts! Great...
Came here with some friends for a quick beer before a local concert. Nice place. At one point I remember an ice rail on the bar to keep drinks cold. It’s no longer there, but still enjoyed the experience.
