Eileen's Bakery & Cafe

This is my favorite little cafe. It’s in an old church and just has a wonderful atmosphere. Great breakfast food, great cookies. Limited selection on coffee but what they have is fantastic. Try the London Fog latte with vanilla.

The facade of the cafeteria invites you to try the coffees they sell. But what a disappointment ?, I ordered a mocha coffee, with a Danish bread, the coffee tasted like sock water (watered down coffee with milk) without any chocolate and the bread was hard and chewy.
They do not serve you on a plate, as you have seen in their publications. I had to put the bread on the wax paper they give it to you with.

One of our favorite hideaway spots in The Burg ... cozy, historic place with flavorful foods and attentive, friendly staff. Always something different offered and always leave in a "glad we came" mode.

Parking: Parking can be limited, but we've always been able to park nearby and find a suitable spot.

Let me start by saying the cake was beautifully decorated. But, it crumbled corn meal- when curing into the cake it fell apart into little crumbs! Missing the red raspberry in between the layers. This was a 10 inch cake close $85! I rather the cake be ugly and taste better than what we had for this special occasion.

Incredible sandwiches and bread!!!!

Cool little coffee shop that's a kind of hard to find unless you're looking for it (it's right next to the library). Great coffee, and they have plenty of nondairy options to add to your drinks. The only thing I wish is that they had more vegetarian/vegan options for food, but the drinks are amazing.

So thankful for Eileen and her amazing staff for our beautiful wedding cake and amazing sticky buns!! Everything was absolutely delicious and beautiful and Eileen definitely saved us in an emergency! Thank you Eileen! ?

This is one of our favorite places downtown. They always have fun cookies for the kids, every breakfast burrito and sandwich we’ve had has been delicious. Once, myself and another friend had set up on the back patio so we could have our coffee and the kids could move around (there was no one else on the patio for them to disturb) and Eileen herself came out, asking if she could bring out cookies for the kids, asking which drinks we’d gotten, if they were good. The staff is always friendly and informative, the inside is cute and clean. Can’t go wrong here!

Eileen baked 2 specialty wedding cakes for my wedding last year, 6/3/23 and all of the guests loved the cakes. They were fresh apricot and lemon poppyseed cakes. My sisters picked the cakes up for me and Eileen met them with kindness and love. This bakery gets a 5 star rating for me. Also, I plan to have my gender reveal cake made here ?

Of course the food is excellent. It's so hard to choose a treat or sandwich. Everything is pretty ridiculously good. AND-the service is also always friendly, warm, and patient. Always makes me feel welcomed. Thank you!!!

Amazing food, great service, can I repeat WOW on the food!!! Will definitely be back ASAP…the lattes are wonderful. Great gem for downtown!
