Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

I went to Firebirds for lunch, ordered a dirty martini and a salad. My waitress brought out my martini, shook it and poured. As she was pouring, unfortunately, the lid of the shaker came off and the contents spilled all over the table and into my drink. I reassured her it was fine and helped her clean it up. After it was all said and done, she walked away. Maybe the miscommunication was on me, but she never took my martini glass which was now full of ice. A few minutes pass and my food is delivered. My waitress checks on me several minutes after I get my salad and I request a new drink. She told me I insisted that it was fine and that’s why she didn’t get me a new one. I apologize for the miscommunication, but I was shocked that this blame was being placed on me. Afterwards I received a new drink and I eat my salad. I go to the restroom before I head out. I give the bartender praise for the martini, and he identifies me as the person who got the two made. I tell him I think it was probably my fault, I was confusing when I spoke. He said that my waitress explained what had happened, she asked if I wanted a new one and I said no only to turn around and ask for a new one when she dropped my food off. Disappointed in how the situation was handled, disappointed with how it was turned on me, disappointed in the dishonesty. I hope in the future the drink is just removed and remade for the guest!

First time eating at this Firebirds restaurant and it was as good as our local Firebirds. My wife had a Colorado chicken salad, which she enjoyed. I had the Durango burger. I don't eat hamburgers often, so when I do I want a really good burger and the Durango is a really good burger. The Firebirds restaurants seem to be consistent with the quality of their food.

Entry: Staff was great, helpful, and kind.
​We sat down and ordered deviled eggs (bussin) and some drinks—a Pineapple something (decent). Then we ordered our brunch food. It should have been quick; we were on lunch having a kid-free day. We ordered our food within 8 minutes of sitting down.
​45 minutes later: Still no food, and we needed to head back to work. We asked the manager for the check and boxes. The check was $100. We told the manager our dilemma, offered him my opinion on the situation, and handed him the check and my card. I asked if he could possibly take something off the check, because who likes to go out to eat just to have to carry it out? The manager was awesome—he handed me my card back and said it was on him, and told us to come back.
​The Food: I ordered the steak and eggs, and she ordered the bacon and eggs with a side of gravy. We finally got our food in a box 10 minutes after asking to just close out. We took the food back to work to eat. She works 30 minutes away, and I'm on the road. The food literally tasted like your white aunt who doesn't season food decided she would try her hand today. OMG, it was horrible. Way over-seasoned and just rough. So after waiting a total of 1 hour to get the food, it was nasty—like, OMG nasty.

My husband and I went to Firebirds for date night. We ordered from the $38.99 3 course menu. The salad was delicious, much bigger and better than a normal side salad served in restaurants. It can pass for a full meal if you order a protein to add to it! I ordered the shrimp and salmon with ancient grains and fresh vegetables. It was really tasty and fresh. My husband had the Firebird chicken with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. He thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We ended the meal with what is called 2 mini desserts, bread pudding and brownie sundae, ummm, it was full size and scrumptious. The staff members were engaging, friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

We went to Firebirds for the Heroes Celebration. Firebird was a little busy but the meal was served in a timely manner. Courteous professional staff. We chose the 3 course meal. A large portion salad followed by a healthy size main course and a delicious desert. Nice outdoor seating area.

Salmon and ribs were good.

It's clean and the staff attentive. No waiting for drink top off's. 11 AM visit on a Thursday when they opened. Not busy.

Burger and tots were very good but expensive. $14.50
Lunch Salmon dish was also good. $23.50 is pricey for a lunch serving. $10.00 off coupon brought the tab down to $30.74 for a lunch.

*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous undiscriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do your self a favor, trust me, etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No one cares about the waiter/waitress names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. No we don't care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.

I am so glad we found this resturant! I had the smokehouse burger and my wife had the lobster salmon. Both were fantastic! Great atmosphere and comfortable seating. Service was outstanding!

Keyona and the entire staff were hands-down perfect. Even the manager was running plates. Food was incredible. If you need a great spot with even better service, visit this Firebirds! (A reservation helps)

Edited review as of 3/26 - terrible service, terrible food, passing sirloins off as filets. Whomever this day manager was should quit. Never coming back after that horrid experience.

I been here a few times, the food is ok, nothing noteworthy that would make me want to come back and try again. There are not too many choices in the area for a restaurant to have great quality food to match the atmosphere. The place is great for drinks at the bar, but it can get packed real fast, they have a great menu, but the quality of the food coming from the kitchen was either bland, over cooked, or just mediocre from my liking.
