Made a reservation for three for Sunday brunch which saved a wait. We sat in the vault which is pretty cool. Service good and friendly. Brunch menu had lots of great choices. Nice place in downtown Fredericksburg. Only downside is limited restrooms for size of the restaurant.
We sat at the table for an hour before food came out. Server did not check on us then brought cold food and left without asking how the food was. Did not refill.

We were seated promptly, and our order was taken quickly by our server. All of the staff was very friendly. The food. Was. Delicious! I got the Jerk Chicken and it was cooked so well. The one down side was that the food was brought out by a cook or busser, so after we ordered our food the waitress didn't come back until we were done eating and never brought one of the drinks and we had to ask the host for salt and pepper. So even though the service could have been better the quality of the food was enough to bring us back for sure.

Foode never put one foot wrong. We stepped out of a scorching 27'C day into a beautifully cooled dining space, resplendent in heritage architecture, opened bank vault and windowed Vista onto old Town Fredericksburg. We were greeted warmly by the staff and Beth even came over to say hello. Needless to say our chicken cob salad and turkey bacon sandwich were more than satisfying. We took what we couldn't eat away with us.. Amazing and well done.

The Vibe
From my experience the quality of this place has gone down in the last 2 years. Food is not as good, some meals just don't have enough flavor. I have even received some meals where certain items are burnt. The waitstaff is not as friendly anymore, and they often seem bothered when you ask questions or ask for things like extra napkins, an extra plate spoon, straw, etc. I know it's not easy working in a restaurant, but I've been to busier restaurants where the waitstaff is more attentive and friendly. The last time I went to visit the waitress charged my friend the entire amount of the bill when we told her to split it evenly. She did provide us with an even split on the receipts yet the next day I was charged half and my friend was charged the full amount.

We have visited this Foode three times, and each time, the food has been awesome! The Fredricksburger with truffle fries is delicious + their scones are out of this world, too!
I'm vegan, and it's very difficult to find places with good breakfast foods. I had the vegan breakfast tacos, and they were delicious! The portion was perfect, too, leaving me full but not overly stuffed. I'd highly recommend eating here!
